The Betting Network or TBN is a group of sports bettors that all share information with a common goal of winning more bets. I also do weekly lessons, a mentorship program, game previews and just pass along any and all information I’ve gathered over the past 15 plus years, the main goal is to help members improve their overall sports betting IQ and help them avoid the brutal trial and error I had to go through before becoming successful in the sports betting industry.

Before I get into the good stuff I have to explain what my job entailed at the time. The company I use to work for scraped sports betting information and data off the internet. The next day after the conference I went across the street to the Westin and they have a restaurant. I see “George” who I met the day before and invited me, he’s sitting at one end of a table that has 2 big tables pushed together making one big table. He waves me over and I sit next to him, there’s about 7 other people there. He tells me to order anything I want, drinks, food whatever and made a point to tell me and everyone there that he’s covering the bill. The Westin is really nice and expensive, not a place I would be going to eat and drink on my own considering I think I was making $16 an hour at this time. I couldn’t help but wonder why he invited me and only me when I had 2 other co-workers. After a couple hours and 4 vodka tonics I found out.
“George” was a professional bettor and was (still is) the head of a nationwide sports betting syndicate. He knew exactly what the company I work for dos and even knew my boss. He explained to me how this would all work - I get the ping - CLE-F [LeBron James] - Rest - Out, I would copy and paste that onto the telegram messenger app and press send, he said sing happy birthday and when finished then I could post it to the world like I normally would. With his automated bet software he could pick off all the books that didn’t move the line yet based on Lebron being OUT. Of course not every single book was reliant on Don Best to move lines, many of the bigger well known offshore books had their own data scrapes and injury software, but more than enough books did rely on Don Best, who relied on my company. The biggest upside for me besides the money was my strong desire to get involved with a real sports betting syndicate but the negotiations quickly let me know that there is a dark side to the industry and I had one foot in.

For those who aren’t familiar, Bethereum combines a popular trend (Cryptographic Token/Currencies a.k.a Crypto) and a popular classic (Bets/wagers). I as someone who is interested in both (but more so into betting, crypto fascinates me and has become more than just a hobby for me but good old betting is my original love) and followed the presale phase that ended last week. To put it in easy terms, Bethereum is a decentralized Blockchain powered social betting platform which assists users who want to place bets with their friends or other players without the need for an external bookmaker “bookie” who would set the odds. It is developed/built on Ether technology and Smart-Contracts; all bets will be placed using the native token called Bether (utility token based on ERC-20). While utilizing Blockchain technology to organize and manage the betting process itself, it appears that their goal is to make the placement of bets & creation of wagers to be quick and easy, so that even people who only bet on occasion to find it easy and intuitive; basically replace the graphs and complicated odd’s spreads with “clicks” and “swipes”. I did my research and decided to share my thoughts and insights with you guys. Hope you’ll like it. For those that don’t, well no hard feelings, if you can spare the time would love constructive criticism which could help me learn and improve. I will go over everything from social media activity to token economics to white –paper.
ICO/TGE Token Specifics: Token Name: Bether (BTHR) Token Platform: Ethereum Token Type: ERC-20 Currency accepted for contributions : Ether Token Price: 1 (one) Ether = 17,500 (seventeen thousand five hundred) Bether BTHR Total Token Supply: 1,000,000,000 (One billion) Hard Cap: 25,000 Ether (6,000 raised during pre-sale, remaining for hardcap : 19,000) Pre-sale: April 2018 (Finished, 6,000 Ether raised)
Allocation of tokens: 60% of tokens will be used for the token sale itself, 3% are for the bounty program, 12% for the long term budget, team & advisors 20% (locked for 72 weeks), 5% for token sale costs.
On their website they also explain how the proceeds from the token sale will be allocated (not many firms include this, at least from what I’ve seen). 25% to development, 20% to operations, 40% to marketing, 8% for partnerships, and 7% for legal. In my opinion Bethereum has a quality and smart financial plan for the token.
Social: Bethereum have quite a large social media presense and a large following as well. They have official accounts on all the usual SM platforms (BitoinTalk, Telegram, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, GitHub[more on that later] in addition to an active Medium blog page. There Telegram group is pretty big ( 56 Thousand) it is active, discussions in the group tend to be about Blockchain, gambling, tech. Group admins seem to have spam and fake users under control as it is un-noticed, overall good interesting crowd in there. Bethereum devs and other team members participate in discussions and answer questions, which is a big +. Twitter account has 20 thousand followers and is active. Their thread’s on BitcoinTalk have tons of discussions going on, mostly bounty related stuff but some dev stuff as well. Overall I think that Bethereum has a solid social media presence and has exponential growth potential, so their marketing power is very strong.
UI: The user-interface (UI) has many options along with a good and accessible design. Has a graphical smart contract builder which is a nice addition. It also hosts a good term with third party developers by a releasing a SDK (Software development kit) and announcing the plan for future support for identities (i.e Civic). The importance of a very good UI is often overlooked, very re-assuring to see that Bethereum has put effort into a great UI.
The idea itself / the concept/ the need for de-centralized betting: Betting or gambling, has historically been an activity that individuals would enjoy together (socially), betting against one another on outcomes of uncertain events (i.e sporting, contest of some kind). With the rise in popularity of betting over time, an industry was born, leading to forms of centralized betting through bookies. The web and mobile device revolution has caused popularity to grow exponentially. The combination of these events have created a situation where the bet-makers needed to place their trust in the centralized bookie/bookmaker; with regards to online betting trust is very important. This creates a very big need for a transparent public open betting ecosystem. The eco system would allow bet placing participants to have access “see” all the important relevant information about each specific bet on a public de-centralized ledger. There,participants can also view all the bets and amounts of money on the Blockchain. Well, considering Bethereum aims to be the future of gambling, the goal is pretty damn high. Bethereum is a social betting platform which allows it’s users to place bets without the need for a bookie. Once a user has created a bet smart contract the platform allows other users in the eco-system to join that bet, and there is no limit on the amount of the bet or amount of participants, so the popular bets will have huge pots. The most interesting thing about its concept is the absence of a bookie. If regular betting always gives the house the winning edge, this time the money stays in the circle of the betters themselves which really sets up the standard in that matter. The social element and the almost flawless security of the blockchain technology creates a unique service which can really go far.
Roadmap and team composition: The most important part in my books. The site looks legit and it seems like we get the full picture along with transparency on the project, along with all the updates and future plans. In regards to progression on the roadmap, they seem to be moving forward and according to plan. Bethereum completed their pre-sale successfully last week and raised 6,000 Ether and they have also released a test-app/ test game (iOS) this week according to their twitter and Telegram. As for the team, checking their bio, linkedin profiles and using google, I was able to get a good idea of the key people behind Bethereum. They have a diverse team, all seem to be quite talented in their respective professions/backgrounds. Their GitHub page is worth visiting if you know about code & dev.
Before you all say to yourselves in your heads “Sounds good, where do I sign?” Please remember that crypto investing is considered to be risky and all potential investors must always proceed with caution and a level head. Conducting your own research and performing your own analysis (or at least study another person’s analysis but make sure that you actually check things). Bottom line is - As for now, Bethereum looks like a promising project. They have covered all the bases, and it appears that their trajectory is in the right direction. I know that Bethereum will be at Consensus NYC AND at the Monaco International Blockchain Forum so keep your eyes and ears open for any important info which could further help the analysis (lurkers! I’m talking to you! Research and analysis conducted as a team is much better!!)

INTRODUCTION

1) What exactly is matched betting and how I do make money risk free?
There are more than 25 online bookmakers in the UK. In order to attract new customers, they each offer free bets, known as ‘Welcome Offers’.
In total they offer over £800 in free bets to new customers.
In order to receive the free bet, bookmakers require you to place your first bet. An example offer is ‘Bet £5, Get £20 free bet’.
The risk is that you could lose both the £5 bet (your own cash) and the £20 free bet.
By using a technique called matched betting, we remove this risk.
This is because we match our first £5 bet on the bookmaker with a £5 bet on a betting exchange on the opposite outcome (this is known as a ‘lay bet’).
For example, we bet £5 on Man Utd to win on the bookmaker, and £5 on Man Utd not to win on the betting exchange.
As we have now bet on all outcomes, regardless of whether Man Utd win, draw or lose, we will neither win nor lose money. However, we have received the £20 free bet!
With the £20 free bet, we can now repeat this process by betting on say Liverpool to win on the bookmaker and Liverpool not to win.
This time, because we are using a £20 free bet but our winnings are paid out in cash, we will always make a profit.
We repeat this process for 25+ bookmakers, one by one. In total we can convert the £800+ in free bets to over £600+ in actual cash profit, in very little time at all.

2) How popular is matched betting?
Matched betting isn’t new and has been around since at least 2005.
However, it is only since 2015 that it has really increased in popularity due to the rise of websites teaching matched betting. You can see this trend here: Google Trends Link
By looking at the various matched betting sites popularity, a reasonable estimate is at least 25,000 people in the UK are matched betters. You can see a review of sites that teach matched betting in the ‘Which websites teach matched betting?’ section below.

3) Does it involving gambling?
This is the most common assumption with matched betting. You’d be forgiven for thinking that it did involve gambling simply because the name ‘matched betting’ would suggest it did.
However, matched betting does not involve gambling, you will never be risking a penny.
Because we are always covering the opposite outcome occurring, there is never any risk we will lose money. Furthermore, we still receive the free bets which we will where we make our profit.
The profitability and risk free nature of matched betting has been reviewed in the Daily Telegraph and the Guardian

4) How much will I need to start?
You can start with as little as you want, however the lowest I would recommend starting with would be £25.
With £25, you can start your first bookmaker welcome offer and make a deposit into your first betting exchange, meaning you can start making a profit.

The downside, with only £25 you are restricted by having to wait for withdrawals before you can move onto the next offer.
Therefore, I would say an optimal amount to have available for your cash flow would be in the region of £200 as this allows you to complete multiple welcome offers simultaneously.

5) How long will it take me to learn matched betting?
To learn the principles of matched betting, it will take up to 20 minutes.
To become familiar with completing your first offer, I would set aside another 30-60 minutes so you can take your time and ensure you are completing it correctly.
For example, the video guides on Team Profit last a total of 21 minutes (8 minutes for the explainers videos and 13 minutes to watch the step-by-step real time example). Although they last just 21 minutes, some users watch certain parts of the video again to become comfortable with the process.
It is very much recommended to avoid trying to learn matched betting by yourself. There are thousands of experienced matched betters who can help you. For more details on this, see the ‘Which Websites Teach Matched Betting’ section.

OFFERS

1)How much money can I make matched betting from the welcome offers (new customer only)?
From the welcome offer, you can make approximately £1,000 cash profit.
There are 25+ bookmaker offers available on sports for at least £600 profit. These are relatively straightforward offers and good value in terms of time to complete. It would take around 12 hours to complete these offers, which works around £40 / hour tax free. You can complete them over any time period you like.
There are at least another 5 bookmaker offers, such as Bet365 and BetVictor, though these require more time, you could make around £100 to £200. They require more time because the bookmaker requires you to bet many more times before you can withdraw.
Plus 20+ offers across casino and bingo, though some are not risk free and typically take more time to complete, but you should be able to make at least £200 profit from these offers.
So overall, there is an easy £600 profit risk free, then up to another £400 if it’s worth your time to do them.

2) How much is a free bet worth in actual cash profit?
A £10 free bet is worth between £5 to £8 in actual cash profit.
The reason for the range is because the higher odds you choose for your free bet, the more actual cash profit you will make.
For example, if you bet on a football team with odds of 2.0, the £10 free bet will convert to around £5 cash profit. Whereas if you bet on a football team that is unlikely to win, with odds of say 6.0, the £10 free bet will convert to around £8 cash profit.
Note though, the higher odds you choose, the more you will need in your betting exchange account in case the bet wins. For a detailed explanation with examples, read this free bet profit article.

3) After I have finished the Welcome Offers, how much money can I make matched betting each month (from existing customer offers)?
Anywhere from £100 to £1,000+ per month.
Bookmakers continue to run free bet offers to retain their customers, I refer to these as Daily Offers.
Daily Offers are typically less valuable than the welcome offers but still worth completing.
For example, rather than ‘Bet £5 Get £20’ that they offer to new customers, they may instead run ‘Bet £20 Get £10’ and on a particular football match.
I would say for people with a day job, aiming for between £300 to £500 a month is realistic. In terms of time required, for every hour you spend, you should make around £30 tax free.
So to make £300 a month, expect to spend around 2-3 hours a week. I’d say to earn more than this, you will likely need to accept a lower hourly rate and do some of the low value offers too.
If you are looking to make £1,000+, I’d expect you would have to be near full time and also be fortunate to keep your enough of your bookmaker accounts open for 12+ month period (what is mugging bet FAQ below).

4) What type of offers are available for existing customers?

Easy offers:
The most common easy offer on football matches is Bet £20 Get £10 free bet. Many bookmakers run this offer, though it will usually be on a particular football match.
The most common easy offer on horse racing is usually on SkyBet, who will run simple offers such as ‘Get £25 free bet if your horse comes 2nd or 3rd’.
There are also easy casino offers, such as ‘£5 risk free’, where you spin on slots and hope to win, if you don’t they’ll refund up to £5 of losses.
These offers can make you up to £300 per month (or £500 on a good month with European football) and are easy for those with a day job.

Harder offers:
If you are looking to make more than £300 to £500 a month, then you will need to spend time on Saturday’s completing horse racing offers on Channel 4 racing and during the week too, though Saturday’s are the most profitable.
Plus you will need to do more advanced offers such as football accumulator refunds, each way offers, though I will leave these aside given they could have their own separate thread :p

BOOKMAKERS AND BETTING EXCHANGE

1) Which bookmakers have the best welcome offers?

There are 3 formats of bookmakers welcome offers.

‘Bet £X Get £Y free bet’ - these are the most straightforward. Simply place your first bet and receive a free bet.
This format of welcome offer, ranging from Bet £5 Get £20 to Bet £50 Get £50, is available on Coral, SkyBet, BetBright, Betfred, Paddy Power, BetStars, William Hill, Stan James, Betway, Ladbrokes, TitanBet, 32Red and MarathonBet.

‘Refunds’ (also known as Risk Free offers) - these are similar to Bet £X Get £Y free bet. The only difference is you only receive your free bet if your first bet loses, hence I refer to these offers are refund offers.
This format of welcome offer is, ranging from £10 to £50 refunds, is available on Bwin, Dafabet, UniBet, Totesport, 188Bet, SuperLenny, Genting and 888Sport.

‘Multi Bets’ - these welcome offers require multiple bets to be placed before receiving your reward. It can take form of a bonus which requires to bet £X amount until you can withdraw any winnings, or the form of a cash reward once you have bet £X amount.
This format of welcome offer is available on Bet365, BetVictor and some other bookmakers, however they often require such a large amount of betting that I haven’t included them in this list.
The quickest to complete are the Bet £X Get £Y due to their simplicity, then the next best are the ‘Refunds’ offers.
The Multi Bet offers can be very valuable (e.g. Bet£365’s offer is worth over £150 profit risk free) but can also require much larger deposits in order to place the bookmaker bets and lay these bets in your Exchange.

2) Which bookmakers have the best offers for existing customers?

Bookmakers vary in their level of generosity to existing customers. This is a little subjective, but in my opinion, this is the ranking of bookmakers for existing customers:

Best: Bet365
Bet365 run a £50 Risk Free offer most months (sometimes twice a month during popular football months) which is worth £35. It is very quick to complete (less than 10 minutes) so for £35 to £70, or around £500 a year, it is a great offer.
Plus they have one of the best horse racing offers, up to a £50 risk free bet if your pick a winning horse with high odds. This is a profitable offer worth around £20-£30 a week, or up to £1,000 to £1,500 a year.

Second Best: SkyBet
SkyBet run regular £5 to £25 free bet offers on horse racing and football, plus regular £5 risk free offers in SkyVegas.

Third & Fourth Best: Coral and Paddy Power
Both these sites run regular horse racing, price boosts and football offers (Bet £20 Get £10 in particular), at least £20 to to be made on every week from these two sites.

Good: William Hill, Ladbrokes, BetStars, Stan James, Betway, Bwin, Betfred, Totesport, 188Bet, 888, BetVictor
All these bookmakers run offer(s) each week so it’s worth ensuring you have completed the welcome offer for each of these sites so you can take advantage of their daily offers for existing customers.

3) What is mug betting?
If you are only ever betting when you receive an offer, the bookmaker will no longer allow your account to receive free bet offers (this is known as being ‘gubbed’).
To get around this, you should place ‘mug’ bets. ‘Mug’ bets are simply bets that a ‘mug’ punter would place. Mug bets include £1 accumulators (betting on several teams to win) and betting on favourites without an offer.
Most advice suggests that for every offer you receive, you should place 2-3 mug bets.
If you are gubbed, it does kinda suck when you receive the email, as you can no longer profit from the bookmaker’s offers.
It is also becoming increasingly common as bookmakers are noticing more suspected matched bettors, due to its increasing popularity. My advice is to make money whilst you can and take sensible precautions to try to keep your account active.

4) What is a betting exchange?
A betting exchange is a marketplace for customers to bet between each other on the outcome of particular events. This differs from a traditional bookmaker because an exchange also gives you the ability to be the bookmaker yourself and take bets from other exchange users.
Standard bookmakers generate profit by offering odds that are in their favour. Betting exchanges explained in terms of how they generate revenue is they charge a commission on any winnings a player receives.
The two market leading betting exchanges are, Betfair and Smarkets.

5) How we use betting exchanges?
When matched betting, a betting exchange is used to place our lay bets (the opposite bet to our trigger bet). So when we place the trigger bet with the bookmaker on one outcome to release the initial free bet, we must also cover the opposite outcome so that if the bookmaker bet does lose we still win on the lay bet - making it risk free!
Similarly when we are placing the free bet bet with the bookmaker we then lay off that bet using the exchange and because we’re using a free bet but being paid out in cash, this is how we turn free bets into withdrawable cash.
We only ever use betting exchanges for lay bets.

ADDRESSING COMMON CONCERNS

1) How sustainable is matched betting?
Matched betting over the past 6-9 months has become harder. Most bookmakers have realised they are thousands of matched betters taking advantage of their offers and so have either reduced the generosity of their offers or have made the daily offers more complicated.
However, there is still intense competition between the bookmakers, meaning they will always run special offers to an extent.
By spending a few hours a week, you can still make £300 to £500 a month, whereas in past year(s) this figure could have been £500 to £800.
The biggest issue matched betters face is being ‘gubbed’. As explained in the mug betting FAQ, this is when a bookmaker restricts you from receiving free bets and bonuses.
There are various theories as to how a particular bookmaker decides to to gub a customer. Reasons include taking up too many offers, winning a high % of bets, withdrawing regularly, placing bets far in advance or at irregular times.
The truth is nobody really knows precisely why people gubbed. However, you can expect to get gubbed at some point from a particular bookmaker, it may be 2 months, it may be 2 years, it is hard to know.
I really think though that everyone can make up to £1,000 from the Welcome Offers and at least £300 to £500 a month without any problems. I think the issues comes when you are making £1,000+ every month which sooner or later bookmakers will catch up that you are taking up a lot of offers.
Having said this, some people say they have been making £1,000+ every month for years, so maybe it is possible if you are using a wide variety of bookmakers and consistently placing mug bets.

2) Will it impact my credit rating?
Having betting activity on your bank statement does not impact your credit rating.
The only thing to be wary of when making betting deposits and withdrawals is that it can affect your application for a mortgage. So if you’re planning on applying for a mortgage in the near future then I’d recommend using a separate bank account to that which you’ll be applying for the mortgage with.

3) Do the bookmakers have terms to stop customers from withdrawing?
The vast majority of welcome offers do not have any withdrawal restrictions.
A handful of welcome offers do but this will be state in the terms and conditions. It is much easier though to use a matched betting website as they will clearly highlight the key terms of each offer (see ‘Which websites teach matched betting’ section below).
Casino offers will almost always have withdrawal restrictions, however for the matched betting welcome offers we are focusing on sports betting.

4) Do I need to know about sports?
Not at all! You do not need a sports background or have any sort of betting knowledge, many matched betters do not know anything about sport or betting before learning matched betting.
You may learn matched betting a little faster if you have sports betting experience but it really isn't important at all.

MatchedBettingBlog.com (link)
The advantage of MatchedBettingBlog is the clear layout of the daily offers posted each day for with step by step instructions. It’s a good site to check to avoid missing the best and easier daily offers. The forum community also helps to post additional offers on top of those listed on the homepage, and also provides general advice on completing daily offers.
The disadvantage of MatchedBettingBlog is it is relatively limited in terms of teaching matched betting and does not provide a clear list of welcome offers. Also, for those looking to make £500+ every month, it doesn’t provide any software to help with the more advanced types of matched betting with daily offers, such as horse racing refunds and accumulator refunds, that the paid member sites offer.

The advantage of OddsMonkey is the exceptional value. They have the best range of software and tools for matched betters to maximise their profits, are consistently bringing up new tools at no added cost. At only £15 per month it is one of the best options to consider.
The only disadvantage is the forum is not as busy as the next two options, ProfitAccumulator and Profit Maximiser. Though the forum is still a sufficiently active to ensure any questions have you are answered quickly.

Profit Accumulator charge £23 per month or £150 per year
Profit Accumulator helped to bring matched betting to the main stream with a highly active community. There are clear similarities between OddsMonkey and Profit Accumulator in terms of their high standard of software and offers.
The advantage of Profit Accumulator is their very active community. There is a great deal of advice in virtually every aspect of matched betting and the information is all well structured. Plus they have a very good offers coverage.
The only disadvantage to Profit Accumulator is the higher cost. The membership itself is £23 per month, plus their version of the Horse Racing Refunds software is £10 per month, or £115 a year. So in total you are paying £33 per month versus OddsMonkey’s £15 per month.

The advantage of Mike’s products is that there is no monthly recurring fee, so if you intend to do this for many months, it may work out profitable to do so. Plus from what I understand their Facebook Group finds some lucrative casino loophole offers faster than other matched betting providers.
The disadvantage of Mike’s products is that you have to buy each product separately rather than having it all within one simple account. Additionally, the total cost if you were to buy all 4 above listed products is £320 + VAT (total cost £384) whereas you could receive all these tools for £15 per month from Oddsmonkey. 1) Depositing and withdrawing
To ensure you qualify for the Welcome Offer, use a bank card to deposit into your newly set up bookmaker account. Most sites will allow Paypal too though check the terms and conditions.
If you use Skrill or Neteller, typically you will not qualify for the Welcome Offer (bookmakers have this rule to prevent fraud) but you can check the terms and conditions.
Withdrawing is easy, you should receive your funds within 1-3 working days depending on the bookmaker.

2) Sending identification documents

Hi everyone, I’ve been a long time lurker on Reddit so decided it was finally time to register and share something with you guys. I want to give something back as I’ve gained a huge amount from some of the threads in this sub Reddit over the years.
I hope you find it useful as it's been something that's added a great additional revenue stream to my existing projects in 2015 so far.
Before I Get Started You will have noticed we are already half way through 2015, and I was actually intending on starting this thread at the beginning of the year but have been really busy and only just got round to it.

So if you want to catch up with my progress thus far, it’s all explained in bi weekly update reports in that blog post which will bring you up to date.
As of now I’ll be updating this thread at least once a month with future updates so you can get everything you need here. If you can’t be bothered reading my blog post so far (It’s like 7,000+ words or something so I don’t blame you), my current total earned from matched betting so far this year, up to the 9th of July2015, is £23,200.
Before I get in to exactly what I do, and how I do it, I have to add a bit of a warning about who can and can't do this so you guys who can't do this don't waste any more time reading this if you’re exempt...
I know that anyone in the UK and Republic of Ireland can do definitely do this. Unfortunately, American citizens can't at the time of writing due to being prevented from being able to join betting exchanges or online bookmakers. If you're unsure about your country's position on this then you can check the terms and conditions of the various sites before joining them.
Another thing to take in to account is that you can learn the basics about how this works, and also find what all the daily offers are and how to do them without having to do it all yourself. Don’t worry, I will send you off in the right direction at the end of this post.
I personally use a service which has a free membership option, and a paid option. I use the paid option because the staff do all the work in finding the offers every day and also give detailed instructions on how to do each offer, so it saves me many hours of time every week.
For the minimal amount I pay them every month for this great service it is literally nothing compared to the hassle I would have to go through if the service didn’t exist.

Right, now that’s all out the way, on to the good stuff. I’m going to give you a brief overview of how I’ve made well over £2,000 every month in 2015, completely tax free and risk free. I sometimes feel like I’m a dirty snake oil salesman putting it like that, but it is actually true, I was as surprised as you’re going to be, believe me...
It started when one day in October a Facebook ad caught my eye advertising exactly what I just stated above. Being an internet marketer myself, I always like to check out ads/sales pages/products etc to see if I can get any tips or ideas to improve my own stuff.
At least that was the plan, the next thing I know I found myself signed up to this website and made ~£45 profit within half an hour. Fast forward to now (July 2015) and my total earnings (including last 3 months of 2014) will be well in excess of £25,000 so far.
I have done this, and you can too, by dedicating on average around 2 to 3 hours a day doing ‘matched betting’...
What is matched betting? I’ll break it down in very simple terms for you in the next few paragraphs, but I’m not going to dwell on the basics too much (Don’t worry, you can learn the basics in detail by reading my blog post or by checking out the resources at the end of this post).
Matched betting is the practice of placing a bet with a bookmaker, and then laying that same bet off on a betting exchange (laying means you are betting that outcome to lose).
The result is that regardless of the result of the sporting event (99% of the time it’ll be a football match or a horse race), you will either make a tiny profit, a tiny loss, or break even. This is because you have bet the outcome will be a win with the bookmakers, and a loss with the betting exchange, therefore cancelling each other out.
Where the guaranteed profit comes in is with the free bets that dozens of bookmakers offer new (and existing) customers when they join their website.
By backing and laying with your own money first, you are activating the free bet with the bookmaker, and then by doing the same with the free bet, you can utilise very easy to use software to calculate your guaranteed profit based on this, completely risk free.
Don’t worry if this makes no sense to you whatsoever, it didn’t to me in the beginning either. I guarantee after watching the free video guides on the site I recommend in my blog post it will be second nature within a few days.

How to make £2,000+ per month ongoing with matched betting? You may be one of the people reading this who has tried matched betting in the past and made a couple of thousand pounds doing sign up offers and then been stuck because you have been unable to find new offers.
I have heard this from many people who have emailed me after reading my blog post and I have told them all the same thing... There are literally dozens of reload offers available to make risk free profit EVERY SINGLE DAY of the week.
On Saturdays in particular, there are more reload offers available than any one person could actually get through in a single day! It’s just a case of being able to find these offers, and knowing exactly how to complete them to make the guaranteed profit from them that has caused most matched bettors problems in the past.
For those new to matched betting, reload offers come in various shapes and sizes. Some examples being; risk free slots offers, risk free bingo offers, free bets on certain sporting events, and lots, lots more.
There are members of the private Facebook group who make in excess of £5,000 every month just from doing reloads alone, so making over £2,000 isn’t really a huge ask.
Casino, bingo, slots etc Apart from the guaranteed income from doing the matched betting sign up and reload offers, there are also dozens of bingo and casino offers you can do every month to further increase your bank balance.
There are two types of these offers: 1. Risk free 2. Not risk free
Obviously the first type of offer is self explanatory, risk free offers are just that, you can only ever break even and lose nothing, or make profit.
The non risk free offers are offers that have a long term value but there is a possibility that you may lose money in the short term when doing them.
For example, if you complete a bingo offer following the instructions in the step by step videos on the site I use, in the long run the offers will have a high expected positive value. However, it is possible that you may lose money on a few offers in a row, then maybe have a couple of really big wins, then lose again a couple of times, and so it continues...
As long as you understand that these offers have a long term expected value, and you WILL make good profit from them in the long term, then you will be fine.
One thing I will always say to beginners though, stick to the 100% risk free matched betting offers in the beginning before moving on to the high long term value offers.
The other upside of doing these offers, apart from the overall great value long term, is that you are always putting yourself in the position where you can take down a big win.
Last month I had a £500 win on a bingo offer and also a risk free slots win of just shy of £600 (I post the screen shots of a lot of my wins on the blog post updates as I go along).
Also, if you’ve taken the time to read my blog post, you will see I also hit a big £1,500 win on the bingo back in April. That’s my best single win to date. Compared to some of the ridiculous wins that get posted daily in the private Facebook group, my £1,500 win is nothing to get too excited about though!
The best one I’ve seen so far is one member who won £12,000 on a bingo offer, crazy stuff. Another woman in the group hit the progressive jackpot on the same slot machine doing two risk free slots offers 48 hours apart, netting her £2,000+ and £3,000+ respectively!
I’m not saying you should expect to win these amounts, however, what I will say is it is literally inevitable that you will hit high three figure days from bingo and slots wins quite regularly as when you continually put yourself in the position to get lucky and hit the big wins, it’s only a matter of time before you do.
These are just nice additions to your income, on top of the guaranteed income from doing the matched bookmaker sign up offers.
Bankroll size and management Your ‘bankroll ‘ should be viewed as a combination of the money you have in your betting exchange accounts to lay the initial bookmaker bets off with, and the money you have in your bank account to deposit to the bookmakers to take advantage of the free bet offers with.
The same question I’m asked over and over is how much do I need to start with to make £x,xxx per month?
It’s impossible to say, as it all depends on how much time you can commit, how aggressive you want to be with the profit margin on each offer (the more money you have in your exchange, the higher odds you can lay the free bets off at, the higher your guaranteed profit margin per free bet is) and your overall ambition.
When I say overall ambition, I mean that while I am probably one of the more prolific matched bettors out there, there are also thousands of people in the private Facebook group who just like to do this for half an hour a night after work to make an extra £500 or £1,000 per month on top of their salaries.
Going back to what you need to get started, here’s two examples, one being me at the start of my matched betting journey, the other being a friend of mine who I just taught how to do it over the last two weeks or so (Bear in mind it wasn’t necessary for me to teach him over the last two weeks, but due to the circumstances you’ll read about below, he wanted to fast track to a similar stage I am at and start earning heavily from this from the word go).
Starting with myself, I originally started off with £100 in total as I wanted to do it as a step by step follow along type process to help out my blog readers so they could follow along too.
In the end I got sick of having to wait a day or two for the bookmakers to pay out my money before I could carry on with another offer, so I just upped my bank to £300, which doesn’t sound like a big increase, but it meant I could get through the offers laying higher odds so less bets won with the bookmakers, which allowed me to get through the offers quicker and not have to wait for winnings to be withdrawn to my bank account again.
Now that I’ve been doing it for a lot longer, my bank is a lot bigger and usually sits in the mid 4 figures range, which is optimal for me to be able to comfortably do all my offers without ever having to wait for any withdrawals or anything from the bookmakers.
To be able to earn £2,000+ a month from this on a regular basis (as in once you have completed all the sign up offers), then having a bank of around £2,000+ in place is going to make life a lot easier.
It maybe could be done on less but to be honest there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to have a bank of that size after completing all the initial sign up offers anyway, so this will be no problem for you.
My friend recently got offered voluntary redundancy and took it; he was paid off from his job with just over £5,000 (This was the circumstance I was talking about and why he wanted to learn how to earn big fast). So he used a good chunk of this as his bank and is now absolutely flying and doing it full time and pretty much making as much as I do from it.
The point I’m trying to make is that everyone can do it, even if you only have £50 to your name, you can still get started with the two offers that the membership site show you how to do for free and profit over £40 straight away.
How much time does it take? Another question I always get is how much time does it take?
Again, this one is a ‘how long is a piece of string’ question. I personally spend around 2-3 hours maximum doing it every day.
However, that’s certainly not every day, some days I can match up my bets in 15 minutes, bagging a guaranteed £100 to £200+ profit in the process, and then get on with the rest of my day/night.
The days where I spend 2-3 hours doing it are the days where I’ll maybe match up a few hundred pounds worth of bets, then move on to doing a bunch of reload offers, slots offer and bingo offers.
The only other time I’ll maybe spend more than 2 or 3 hours doing it is if it’s a Saturday and there are loads of really good high value risk free reloads to do (which is pretty much every Saturday to be fair), this is only because it’s possible to make large amounts of profit on Saturdays as the live horse racing cards and selection of European football games bring with it a plethora of amazing high value offers to sink your teeth in to.
Once you understand the concept and process, which should only take you a couple of offers to get familiar with, it’s very simple to match up a couple of hundred pounds worth of bets in 15 minutes no sweat.
Risk free and tax free Aside from matched betting being some of the easiest money I have ever made in my entire life, it is also 100% risk free, and since gambling earnings in the UK are exempt from taxation, all your profits from matched betting are completely tax free too!
So whether you want to scale this up like I have and make a very good income from the profits, or just add an extra 500 quid to your wages every month, I just think it’s something that literally everyone can do and should be taking advantage of.
Wrapping up this part I’m going to wrap this part up now as I have gone on quite a bit more than I intended to, and I don’t want to hit you guys with information overload.
