Bitcoin Price Crash - You Will be Suprised What Happens Next

I think I'm about done.

So, last wipe, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I struggled until I got to about level 35ish, but eventually I got my bitcoin farm going (not full 50 GPU) and my booze generator going, and I was making some decent rubles.
I could buy decent gear, the scopes I wanted, the ammo I liked (which was rarely m995,7n37, or m61, btw). And then I could go in raid, do my quests, find items, kill players, take their stuff and leave. Or, I could die and lose all my gear, and it would sting, but not break me. But when I did raids, I almost ALWAYS stayed until <10 minutes remaining, sometimes even getting out with spare seconds left. Yes, by about level 45, I eventually started making more money than I could spend, but ONLY after 50 GPU's in the BC farm and booze generator combined.
Now this wipe, instead of enjoying the raids, I'm getting frustrated trying to find progression halting items. Then, when I do find them, I'm STRONGLY encouraged to turtle up, hide until the coast is clear behind counters or in bushes, then extract at 10:01. I'm also having to buy expensive weapons like SVD's to finish quests, which I had to do last wipe too, but my rouble flow was much much higher.
I can kill a 3 man squad, and make 200k, because their armor was zero'd out and too high cost to repair and their guns with all their fancy attachments are worth 75k. Or, I can die and lose about that much. There is no real risk/reward any more.
Then, when I'm having a particularly bad day dying, I can't even lean back on looting stuff like factory keys and fuel conditioners now, AND WHAT LITTLE BIT OF FIR I SELL HAS ATROCIOUS FEES. I sold 3 packs of bolts for 14k ea and the fee was 12k.
It's like BSG isn't even trying to micro adjust the game to dial back the ruble flow. Instead it's full on scorched earth. Only the people with the absolute best combat skills or the most time to rat around have the ability to make any decent money.
On top of that, I'm level 33 and JUST got my last FIR flash drive. I have crashed against the rocks to the tune of MILLIONS trying to get a LEDX and 3 FIR graphics cards from Interchange, thanks to RNG. I can't even start Shooter Born In Heaven, and I would be 3/4 done with it by now if I had it 10 levels ago.
I'm sure* 3/4 of the subreddit will come by to tell me to quit crying, git gud, it's hardcore, roubles are easy to make, its a BETA, etc..
Well here's my Beta feedback. The game isn't fun when I lose every ruble I scrape up trying to do quests with specific gun/armor requirements and finding FIR items in hotspots, and hiding to avoid losing those items, all while BSG -heavily- deflates the economy and punishes rule obeying players in the name of stamping out RMT.
*Left out a word.
Edit: let me just say, I don’t mean this as a personal attack towards Nikita or the other devs. It’s simply just my experience, and my thoughts. I don’t have answers on how to make the perfect balances and compromises, or fixes on RMT etc.
I just wish it had been publicized ahead of time, something like “Okay guys, next wipe we’re gonna experiment with making it real hard.”
Also I’ve gotten a lot of responses saying “you’re not supposed to run the best gear every raid.” And my reply is, my standard kit is a Vepr KM, 6B23 armor, a Ratnik helmet, and comtacs, with self made BP ammo from the hideout. I’ve just recently started adding TV10 armor rigs into the mix. I’m not a META player who has to have iglonik or M995 every raid. I’m not trying to say I want to do that either.
For one CONSTRUCTIVE bit, I feel like items should have two different FIR tags. One for flea/resell, one for quests, and the quest one staying if you died with it. That would make life better to me and to a very large population of power players.
Also, between FIR changes, reduced loot spawns, increased flea fees, reduced trader sell prices, any 1-2 of those are survivable but all of them together, with more to come I'm sure, are crushing. That's all I'm saying.
EDIT Again : I just saw what Jaegers giving for guns. THAT is nice. That makes up a little bit for the stuff like fuel conditioners.

Tarkov, a true story.

Before I begin, This is based on a true story of when I was attempting to finish farming part 1 tonight, and came across a hero.I apologize in advance for any bad grammar, as it just happened and I'm writing this at 1am before I head to bed.
- fucking mechanic, why can't he fix his own damn control boards
Nothing but the sounds rubble echoed off the decaying steel as I crept towards what had been described to me as a once in a lifetime get rich quick scheme.. Regrettably it wasn't the first time I'd been convinced by money over morals I thought as I looked down at what was left of my USEC badge, which I was thankful had almost been frayed beyond recognition.Something about an online market had crashed and Sergey, or the mechanic as we called him, had been able to stockpile whatever this "bitcoin" thing was before our generator, as usual, blew.
Before the evacuation, Sergey had been a foreman at a local chemical plant factory, the same chemical factory we were able to scavenge the emergency generator from, and thankfully he was aware of where they kept their spare parts, including the fuses needed to repair our generator. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't have the slightest fucking clue how to fix generators, and had Sergey told me it would be fucking 3:28 am by the time I was able to get there you can bet your ass he would be the one here risking his life for these stupid bitcoins.. Not me.
As I continued forward I saw the moonlight reflect off of the manhole leading to the decrepit service tunnel leading into the factory, I threw my rotting bag, still stained with blood from the previous owner off my aching back and took inventory one last time- Ammo... Check- Tools... Check- First aid.....uh.. First aid...Where the fuck is it?I swear to FUCKING god if this commie-addict motherFUCKER took my FUCKING PAINKILLERS AGAIN..FUCK YOU SERGEY. FUCK, fuck it... I don't fucking need em,
I looked up at the night sky, screaming silently, and closed my eyes but it was so dark that I couldn't even notice a difference
I took one last deep breath in and felt the cold, damp air sting my lungs before I slung my pack back on and inched down through the manhole into the tomb that was the service tunnel....

As I snuck my way up to the last door on the right, which I knew was the door that led into the factory because of the flickering, soviet area emergency light. I grabbed the handle and felt the coldness of the metal penetrate my glove, and with all my strength cranked the silo door open which sent sounds of nails on a chalkboard piercing through the air. I then threw all my weight into the door. Slowly, it creaked open and I was greeted to the pitch black darkness of Factory, I reached for my cracked USEC issued NVG's but it was so dark not even they could pierce the darkness. In front of me I struggled to make out a long hallway with gridlike cracked windows on the right side whom lead into an abyss of what I knew to be the main factory room.
I inched onward, Nothing but the sound of my own breath and the squeaking of mice to comfort me, suddenly, I heard the screeching sound of one of the main factory doors being pried open, and the sounds of muffled scratches emanating from down the hall.. who else was here?My nerves were thrown to the side as over the sound of my heart pounding I heard a deep voice from the other side of the hallway. "Я чертовски ненавижу это место уже.." I froze like a deer caught in headlights, all I could do was lay down and take cover, a second voice boomed, "Проверив третий этаж, Дмитрий сказал, что оставил там компьютер.", then another voice that could have only came from a chain smoker chuckled, "Дамы вперед" once again the second voice mumbled, "отвали"
Suddenly, down the hallway out of the darkness the moonlight carved the silhouette of a man lurking directly towards me. I saw the moonlight reflect off his weapon's chrome barrel, and without hesitation I raised my suppressed 74N as his eyes met mine
*TSK TSK*
Adrenaline rushed through my body as I saw his bloody mist paint the walls around while the whole factory shook as his corpse hit the floor, motionless.
"О, БЛЯ"
The man behind him rushed up to his friends corpse, and belched
"ЧТО ЗА ХЕРНЯ"
Panic overwhelmed me and my next few shots annihilated the cement behind him, one of the bullets managing to graze him while the shrapnel of the cement embedded into his arm, he let out a blood curdling scream. Suddenly night turned to day as I was blinded by the muzzle flash from their weapons allowing me to see the second man skimper behind a nearby wall,
"БЛЯДЬ БЛЯДЬ БЛЯДЬ"
Through the deafening ringing in my ears I pushed up as I heard a magazine crash into the factory floor. pushing to the corner I blindfired around it, muzzle flashes illuminating a man cowering, screaming, and clutching his chest as the third shot muted his screaming. Before I could turn to clear the other side what felt like a truck rammed into my back, I collapsed the floor but managed to roll onto my back and blindly spray into the darkness greeting me. holding down the trigger until click synchronized with the sound of a third body thumping to the floor..
The factory fell silent. My ears screaming, ripping my head apart with their deafening suffering. I limped my way to the only thing penetrating the darkness, the shattered window reflecting the moonlight
in my attempt to lean against the window for balance, blood dripped down my arm as the broken glass slit through my skin like a razor. looking down at the bodies, I tried to make out their bloodied faces while I ripped the dogtags from their necks, but before I could apologize to them my shoulder was ripped off and through the ringing I heard as suppressed shots ripped through what remained of the glass in front of me, a second shot completely shattering what was left of the same arm. No longer able to support myself against the window I collapsed onto the floor, falling onto one of the bodies. in an attempt to scream my throat ran dry, the ringing in my ears silencing it. I try to lift myself up, but another shot disintegrates my right knee, and then another rips apart my left leg. instinctively, like a coward, I scream for help, but my voice disobeys, instead blood spills into my mouth, gurgling, fighting for my life I use what strength I have left to spit the blood drowning me, and wheeze out the words "help me"
my head cracks back onto the concrete as I fall back onto my back, through my blurry vision, what light there is begin to fade, accepting that this is the end, I feel my eyes close as a wave of extreme exhaustion washes over me. I fight to keep them open, and out of the haze I see... a hand... and what I had thought to be the light fading was instead the shadow of a man stepping over me.. offering his hand.. and he mumbles the words
"Огонь по своим"
Without hesitation he kneels to my side and produces a post-soviet medical kit from his battered bag and immediately begins applying pressure to stop the bleeding, the bleeding he caused.. I scream in pain but no sound emerges, he administers a shot of epinephrine and begins applying a splint to my leg. Suddenly, he stops. What feels like years pass as lays the unapplied splint down, picks his weapon up off the blood soaked floor and braces his gun against the window before calmly putting two shots through it, in the distance, two thuds. he kneels back down and this time pulls me up against the wall and throws me what medical supplies he has and whispers "покрытие" before surgically placing three more shots through the window, in the distance screams emerge that ring through the factory walls. without glancing down at me he whispers "Все в этом чертовом городе слышали свои выстрелы" and takes a deep breath before quickly dispatching 5 more shots.
as he's taking cover to reload, a barrage of fully automatic gunfire riddles the window and walls around us. I fumble to grab the splint he threw me and crawl over to my weapon before checking the mag "almost empty". Gripping the window sill I pull myself to my feet just in time to see more targets approaching the windows. I fire what's left of my blood-soaked magazine, incapacitating two in the process before hearing the *click* of an empty mag. The man, noticing the click, glances down at the three corpses and grabs one of their abandoned shotguns before throwing it to me.
Gunshots ring throughout the factory as I excruciatingly limp my way back to cover, back towards where I initially entered the hallway, knives shoot up my leg as I begin to mend myself, Suddenly I remember why I came here in the first place, the fuzes, and I'll be goddamned if I have to go through all this again, I grit my teeth as I pierce my skin with the stitching needle and inject myself with additional epinephrine, I glance up and see sparks flying as bullets ricochet off of the grid like windows towards the man who tried to kill, and then save me. My eyes, which had now had time to adjust to the darkness, see a faint glowing red backup light directly above one of the fuze boxes Sergey mentioned. Sparks continue to fly across the hallway, Illuminating the sides of one of my partners arms, what I see sends a chill down my spine that freezes me in place. Hesitantly, I shake to raise the shotgun to his chest. Directly at what I had feared it was. Directly at his BEAR crest. If the rumors were true, being captured by a BEAR would bring a punishment worse than death. Time froze as he slowly turns his head towards me, slowly, twice, I squeeze the trigger. The muzzle flash blinds me, and what I see after is my partner drop to his knees, glancing down the hallway at the two scavs who had been approaching him from behind on the opposite side, unnoticed, drop to the floor, dead.
Feeling my strength again, I point my partner towards the fuze boxes, nodding his head he continues to cover me as I pull two fuzes out of the box. sparks fly from the box as once again the factory falls silent. Not willing to risk staying any longer I grab his shoulder to signal I'm good to go and we slowly, silently, work our way while covering each other to the exit. As we take refuge near the extraction point, I reach out to shake his hand, hoping to get his name. He refuses. Feeling indebted, I pull my bag off and rummage for any valuables I might have to offer as some sort of thanks, I throw down the NVG's that weren't of assistance, but still held value, I also throw the dog tags of the three men I killed, again, he refuses, simply shaking his head no. Accepting defeat once again I regrettingly pick them back up as we walk to the exit, and glance at each other one last time.

2018 Escape from Tarkov development plans

Hello everyone!
We know that you have been expecting the 2017 annual report from us, since we promised it. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), since the beginning of the year and to this moment, we are exclusively focused on development. Creating an annual video requires the diversion of a large number of developers from their current tasks; therefore, the report was suspended. In the annual report, we usually also talk about our plans for the next year. Therefore, we have decided to present these plans at least in the form of a text so that you could gain an understanding of what shall come to Escape from Tarkov in 2018.
First and foremost, we are preparing the launch of the Open Beta Testing. To make sure everything goes smoothly with this launch, we are now polishing the game’s technical aspects above everything else, namely:
Fixing all possible errors that break the gameplay or game:
We are optimizing and fixing the network code, striving to eliminate the cases of desync, reduce delays and get rid of disconnects.
Optimizing game performance
It’s also worthwhile to note that we have already started the preliminary preparations for transition to the new version of Unity 2018, and the engine developer company specialists are providing us with prolific support on that matter.
And now, a little about the new features, which are planned to be included in the game this year.
Most importantly, I want to emphasize that EFT will continue to go down hardcore the road, with ceaseless improvement of realistic component. In other words, the game will be becoming more realistic and hard.
The desired degree of immersion and realism will be achieved through introduction of various features to complement the current system. Let’s review just some of the features that are on top of the planned list.
Time-consuming magazine loading
This feature is already being implemented. When in raid, you will not be able to instantly load the magazine with cartridges. Loading every cartridge will take time, and it can only be done in the inventory. Same goes for unloading of ammo from the mag (though time required to unload one cartridge is less than time required to load it.). Later on we will add special animations of loading and unloading ammo.
This feature is closely connected to another innovation: - the exact values of remaining ammo will be removed from inventory -- you will need to use the option of checking the number of rounds left in the magazine and in chamber.
Loading or unloading rate will be affected by the character health condition, skills and/or weapon mastering. Outside the raid, ammo will be loaded/unloaded immediately, and its number will always be determined precisely.
Animations for medical supplies, food and other consumables
Such items are now used "in the background" while you can keep firing, which is, of course, absolutely not realistic. In the future you will not be able to use weapons while getting treatment or eating.
Off-raid treatment and parameters recovery
A very important innovation which will get rid of magical full recovery of health and other parameters after exiting the raid. Now the health will have to be improved after the raid, either by waiting a certain time to regenerate or by using medical kits, food and water. Health rehabilitation rate will be connected to another major feature -- the Hideout.
Smoke grenades
We already have prepared models, animations and effects of smoke grenades, both Western and Soviet/Russian. They will be useful for creating smoke screens in dangerous situations. The smoke is physically adequate and great at filling up indoor premises.
Under-barrel grenade launchers
It’s a long-announced feature that turned out to entail a lot of difficulties while adding it to the game, especially on the part of network logic. Nevertheless, UBGL are getting be added to the game before long.
Troubleshooting - Dealing with jamming, misalignment and misfires. Ammo quality.
Introduction of this feature will make the players pay attention to tracking of the ammo quality and weapon state. Who knows, maybe out-of-commission AK will jam dead or even explode in your face, ending the raid prematurely. This feature is also related with weapon overheating.
Improvement of medical supplies. Stimulants. Addiction, overdose and side effects from medicines.
Stimulants will be sold by the Therapist and will improve your skills (even beyond the maximum level) for a limited time. Beware of side effects, though!
Ongoing introduction of new skills
In particular, faction-specific skills that will be available only to particular PMC.
Scav leaders
We are now actively adding new PvE enemies - Scav bosses, each with unique appearance, gear and behavior. Every such boss will be surrounded with an escort of hardened thugs who would desperately defend their chief.
Personal quests
Personal investigations that immediately uncover the pieces of game plot. Who are the Unknown? What the Cult is all about? What is the Ticket? Why has the fall of Tarkov even started what will it lead to?
Flea market
Feature that lets you put your own goods up for sale. It is also related to the Handbook (all examined items will be recorded there), search system (that will make possible, for instance, finding all the sales associated with AK-74N) and Kits (saving customized weapon kits, ability to share them and to quickly purchase missing parts)
VoIP
The ability to communicate with voice in the raid, with positioning and range of hearing.
That’s how Radios will work later on.
Changing the character appearance
A special service provided by traders will allow to change the appearance of the character’s upper and lower body parts. At this point, we have 5 sets of apparel prepared for each faction. Thanks to this, you will have the opportunity to pick the camo more adequate to the particular task, daytime and terrain.
New types of exits from locations
There will be locations with no permanent exits, where you will need to use the flares to enable the extraction, thus attracting attention of everybody in the vicinity. Pre-purchase special exits in advance, before the start of the raid.
Hideout
A huge feature that adds the building and management of your own hideout. It’s upgrade and outfitting will increase the stash, speed up rehabilitation, add the possibility of crafting different items, including homebrew liquor and omnipresent bitcoin farm. All content assets are already complete - now it’s turn for programming logic and interfaces.
Arena
A separate game mode, full of interesting innovations. Competitive and exciting. Extensive coverage on the Arena will be out later.
As mentioned above, this is just a part of the list of all the features that are going to be in the game.
It’s also worth pointing out that this year we’ll have another iteration of graphics improvements without affecting performance - updated lighting, vegetation, shaders, post-effects. Also, the testing of updated character animations is already underway.
Moreover, on top of that, we will add new weapons and a load of customizations for them, including functional two-barrel shotguns and revolvers. New equipment is going to include 10+ helmets, body armor, new tactical vests, other headgear, glasses, balaclavas, headsets.
And, of course, new locations - after Intersection we are going to continue with Streets of Tarkov. On a parallel track, we’ll start building an indoor location with the same CQB spirit as Factory - the TerraGroup Lab. This year we are expecting to finish all the locations necessary to release.
As you can see, the plans for 2018 are rather formidable. With your support, however, the work goes faster. Thank you for being with us!
Escape from Tarkov for life! MORE FEAR - MORE GEAR!

Tarkov 2018 Roadmap - Where we are now

TL;DR - Visual TLDR: https://i.redd.it/hq8fiy71aij11.jpg Image Created by Haammaar. Great job delivering on most of your promises BSG, your hard work shall not be under-appreciated.
Hello everyone, and thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out this post. I’d like to talk about the roadmap they released for their development plans in 2018, and where we stand on them now. Hopefully you can learn something from this post in relations to their plans for the rest of the year.
This post is going to be extremely long, so buckle up!
Quoting Habean , aka Klean: “2018 will be the year of EFT.” Yeah, you were damn fucking right about that. This year, we had some stellar progress on the game and even had some insanely good exposure and viewership on Twitch, with Summit and Shroud playing it and attracting a lot of new players to the game! This game is growing, not dying, and that should be a good sign towards the future.
Before we get into the roadmap, here’s a link to it directly on the Escape from Tarkov website. https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/news/id/106
I’m putting that there as I don’t want to directly implement those walls of text into this post, as it would make the post significantly longer. So, I will go through most points said there from top to bottom, so you can easily follow along if you haven’t already peeped the roadmap.
First and foremost - thank you BSG. You work way too hard and we appreciate everything you do for us. Giving us this roadmap and especially doing your best to STICK with it has showed me (and hopefully the rest of you) that you mean business and care about the game.
The first thing that article states in relation to the development plans is fixing game-breaking errors, such as performance drops, game crashes, inventory freeze-ups and generally bugs that severely interfere with gameplay. With the introduction of the 0.10 patch set to come SOON™, that aims to fix a LOT of these bugs. If you haven’t yet read the 0.10 patch notes, I strongly suggest you do. See here - https://www.reddit.com/EscapefromTarkov/comments/9bizo8/intermediate_patchnotes_to_010_changes_to_the/
Next up is, your favourite thing, Netcode. Fixing the netcode is an on-going process and again, patch 0.10 aims to improve upon this, so we’ll see how that goes!
Optimizations: See 0.10 patch notes linked above.
Time-consuming magazine loading: One of the first things BSG implemented this year! A very welcome change to the game, as it slightly shuffles up people’s gameplay styles and makes the game a little bit slower.
Animations for medical supplies, food and other consumables: Currently still a work-in-progress, BSG aims to implement these changes in patch 0.11. See here - https://www.reddit.com/EscapefromTarkov/comments/9b2jdx/current_state_of_work_briefly/
I think it’s safe to say that 0.11 is coming before 2019... I’m hoping!
Off-raid treatment and parameters recovery: Judging by the community response to this feature, a LOT of players didn’t like the idea of this change. We also have not heard any additional information about this feature, as the devs have not expanded on this feature since the roadmap.
Although, if the developers still plan in implementing this, I highly suspect it will come along with the Hideout, as stated in their roadmap article. If you’d like to see a survey on what the community thinks about the 2018 roadmap, see here - https://www.reddit.com/EscapefromTarkov/comments/8190tf/tarkov_roadmap_survey_make_your_voice_heard_tell/
Smoke grenades: These have been implemented along with flash grenades! While I think the smoke grenades can use a bit more refining, the Zarya stun grenades are incredible! Great work BSG.
Under-barrel grenade launchers: They are yet to be implemented, and we haven’t heard any updates on the matter. They have mentioned that the UBGL’s were very problematic and caused a lot of issues, especially on the part of network logic. Hopefully we get to see these in 0.11, or before the year ends!
In the roadmap survey, the UBGL received quite a mixed response, with the majority of the community voting against the implementation of this. While I suspect that they will add them regardless of the votes, maybe they saw the community reaction and decided to focus on different things while slowly refining the UBGL’s on the backburner.
Troubleshooting - dealing with jamming, misalignment and misfires. Ammo quality: Again, no word from the developers on these features. That’s not to say we won’t see it before the end of 2018!
Improvement of medical supplies. Stimulants. Addiction, overdose and side effects from medicines: No word on this from the developers.
Ongoing introduction of new skills: We have seen Mag Drills skill added, and 0.10 plans to introduce the Covert Movement skill. According to the roadmap, the developers said that the skills they planned to add throughout the year were PMC specific, (such as BEAR Raw Power, USEC Long-Range Optics etc.) Although we have not heard anything of these Faction-Specific skills, again it’s not to say we won’t see them before the end of the year. Hindsight is 20/20!
Scav leaders: The Dealmaker - Customs Scav Boss has been introduced with the 0.9 patch and it is amazing! We definitely need more dynamic events like this across all maps!
Personal quests: These are aimed to be personal investigations that immediately uncover the plot of Tarkov, why it has fallen, and what it will lead to. We have no further information of the implementation of these types of quests, although the devs have added a bunch of different quests to do.
Flea market: This was supposed to make its way into the 0.10 patch, but has been delayed. Nikita said it will come before 0.11 patch which like I said, is expected before the end of the year (hopefully). It is coming SOON™.
VoIP: Voice over IP is planned for patch 0.11. This has been a long-awaited feature which may help a LOT with Scav-on-Scav Violence™, as well as possibly understanding the intentions of other PMC’s you encounter during a raid.
Changing the character appearance: This feature plans to implement the ability to change the clothing of the Upper and Lower body parts. It is planned for the 0.11 patch. See here - https://www.reddit.com/EscapefromTarkov/comments/9bh3ft/comment/e542afn
New types of exits from locations: This has been partially implemented. We have new paid extracts on the Customs and Interchange locations, in which you pay 3000 roubles to extract and must wait a few minutes to successfully extract (similar to woods South extract). These extracts are RNG, meaning they may or may not be there.
In accordance to the roadmap, they planned to add extracts that will alert others of your presence via Flares, and extracts that you can purchase before entering the raid. These ones have yet to be implemented.
Drumroll please...
Hideout: Ahh, the very, VERY long awaited feature that’s been at the front of everyone’s minds ever since it was announced. This feature is going to be MASSIVE and a certain game changer, as it will allow you to do things such as build up your own personal hangout space out of the raid, upgrade your stash size, make a bitcoin farm, possibly CRAFT ITEMS, and much more.
The Hideout is planned to be implemented after the Flea Market, possibly in the 0.11 patch. It is so close and feels like it’s right around the corner guys, this is insane! It seems like it is going to make its way into the game before the end of the year, and may possibly introduce many of the features mentioned in the roadmap that we have yet to see implemented. Fingers crossed!
To read more about the Hideout, see the 2018 roadmap linked at the top of this post, or read the official Hideout article here - https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/news/id/66
Arena: A separate game mode, full of interesting innovations. Competitive and exciting. Extensive coverage on the Arena will be out later. We have no additional information about the Arena.
The devs have also stated they will add new weapons with TONS of new mods (which they have delivered upon - Glock 17/18, M1A, SA-58, Mosin With 0.10, HK416 with 0.11). As well as new helmets (ULACH+Variants, Black FAST MT, LZsh, Zsh, Devtac ronin, Altyn), new vests (MK3, M2, Tactec, Commando), new headgear and glasses/goggles and headsets (Dundukk, Raybench, Rglass, Anti-Fragment goggles, various hats, new balaclavas, Sordin and Zssh Headsets etc.). They have delivered new gear, and will continue to deliver cool new gear!
Devs have also stated they plan to finish all maps necessary to release this year. Right now, we’re missing 5 maps to complete all raid locations (not including TerraGroup Labs, which is planned for 0.11 patch). This was a BIG claim by BSG, which sadly I don’t think they can deliver on. :(
So there you have it! Those are all the main points of the roadmap, and where we are today. Not freaking bad if you ask me. Despite various delays to patches and some information throughout the course of the roadmap and today, the devs are pretty well on track with their promises. I’d like to assume that the reason we haven’t heard much about some of the major features stated on the roadmap is because there have been a lot of game-breaking bugs throughout the last months, and the game needs to be running smoothly before the thought of adding huge features.
If you’ve made it this far, consider leaving an upvote for visibility. Maybe Nikita could come through and shed some light on the features we have no information of yet! If there’s anything I missed, do let me know and I’ll edit it into the post.
BSG has been working their asses off around the clock to push updates to us and we can’t thank them enough for the continuous effort they pour into this project.
Leave a comment letting me know what you think! Thanks for reading guys.

An Enormous List of Thing I'd Like to See in Watch Dogs 2 (if it happens)

These aren't in order of importance, just sorted by categories. Some ideas just have a few examples and can be expanded upon. This list is mostly gameplay changes; the story, characters, graphics, etc. aren't covered here. This list is massive, so if a category is boring the hell out of you, feel free to skip it but please check out the next one; not all of them contain huge changes.
HACKING
ADDITIONS:
CHANGES:
WEAPONS
ADDITIONS:
CHANGES:
As for the player's inventory:
COMBAT
ADDITIONS:
CHANGES:
SIDE MISSIONS
This is a big change, likely the biggest so far. Remove the current crime, gang hideout, and convoy systems entirely. Introduce the CtOS Alert. The CtOS Alert presents itself like a crime, giving only a location on the map. This location isn't preset like crimes; it can be in a ton of places, be different sizes, and move around. Arriving at the location, you will have to use your eyes and cameras to find out what kind of alert it is.
CRIME:

The probabilities react to their proximity to a victim, if they pull out a firearm, or if they start shit-talking someone. These are a few things, large and small, that I would be pleased to see in a sequel to Watch_Dogs. Of course more changes could and should be made, but overall I think these are pretty good. Let me know in the comments if these ideas are excellent, could be tweaked, or if I should never impose my horrible opinions on this forum for the remainder of my life. Also, please point out any typos, since I probably missed a few and I may elect to x-post this to /gaming or /games after reviewing their post guidelines.
Thanks for reading!

A word of advice for day traders, especially if you are new. My bitcoin trading story. Please read.

I know this is long, but I think it is a great story for any traders in the bitcoin market to read. I'm a realitivaly new trader with some experience and want to share it to you all and hope you learn something from it, so you guys don't make the same mistake as me. And you guys can comment if you have a different opinion about something or any good information to help out, what I think works and what you think works. Here at BitcoinMarkets were part of a family, so feel free to express what you think. In the end it's not about being bullish or bearish, its about having a larger net worth when the day is over with.
First let me start out back when I was a young teenager.
A very successful man, whom I know that is worth hundreds of millions told me before Lesson 1:"In stocks get out while you are ahead, make your 20-30% and get the hell out", he says with stocks he's an in and out kind of guy, make 30% and get out. I wish I took what he said to heart because for the past week I really didn't. And I hope you guys don't do the same as me. Now, if you are a professional trader and/or manage some multi million dollar fund it can be a different story because you know how to manage risks/rewards better than most.
A little bit of info about my self, I'm 20 years old, passed high school with a 2.5 GPA by doing just enough to get by. Now I'm working full time at a retail job which pays for my college, and I'm a part time student at a community college studying business administration and finance. For a while I have been interested in stocks I've been looking in to the stock market and trading quite a bit. I was successful with a few stocks like TSLA, MJNA, and LNCO. I like to look at stocks that are undervalued, oversold, or stocks or a product related to a stock about to get a lot of buzz, then and after extensive research, it's time to buy in, make a few bucks, then get out. Also I love stocks that generate a lot of buzz you've just got to buy in to them fast, like a bat out of hell before the sheep do or other possible investors, make that 15-30% and sell out. I bought in at TSLA at $100/share and sold at $120, I know I missed the rally to $190 but who cares. Bought into MJNA mid October of last year when it was trading around $0.07 because I knew some online pot activist and news online about pot being legalized in a few states with a new vallot for voters, and stuff is going to get crazy about legalizing marijuana this month. So I bought in before all the buz at $0.07 and sold at $0.40, now it's worth .10, I may invest into MJNA or some other stock related to marijuana again when some big pot buzz about legalizing in more states comes up in the news. The only stock that I am highly confident of me getting x2-x3 returns within the next 5-8 years going long is BAC, I don't plan on selling that for 5-8 years, it is highly undervalued and the price can triple or who knows maybe even more within the next 5-8 years due to increasing mortgage rates.
Right now I dream of running my own company or website service, being a very successful stock trader, and buy and rent out homes to generate enough passive income to live off of for retirement. I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur, as a child I would dig up plants and sell potted flowers for half dollars around my neighbourhood, In middle school I would put custom hacked firmwares on students PSPs I was charging $50 to hack each PS3, and you know almost everyone had a PS3 back in the day and everyone wanted me to mod it, I was always the man with the money in middle school. Then In High school I had a successful PlayStation3 moding business for hacking call of duty MW2, people would ship me their PS3s and I would transfer a few hacked files to it so they could run challenge lobbies and have infinite health, ammo etc. on multilayer, I was charging $250 per PS3 made enough money to pay for a car with a some money to still save over, heck I had a website, youtube and was dealing with multinational customers. At one point one of my videos got so much attention because it was on some huge gaming news website N4G.com titled "Modern Warfare 2 hacked to shreds on PS3" , within like 6 hours a video of mine on youtube went from 50,000 views to 1.5 million views. I thought yes! this is awesome more subscribers and people to do business with keep on complaining about people hacking on COD MW2 and sending out my video everywhere anyone who says that’s cool will go to my channel and find I hack PS3s for a service. Well it didn't turn out as planned, those millions of people flaged my video because "it was marked as spam" And my whole youtube account was taken down. It was only big for a while though because It was to hack COD MW2 for the PS3 and once that game was over, no more business. I have a youtube channel too which I haven't been really active on but need to start to do things because I'm a partner with them.http://www.youtube.com/useMcSpankn
Now back to bitcoin
To start out, I have known about bitcoin for a few years. I bought some bitcoin back when they were trading around $5 per coin in 2011 and used the coins to buy things that most of the bitcoin population did back in that time. I always thought, what if I invest $5,000 into bitcoin and one day I will be a millionaire with the rate of this coin going up. I simply told my self it is too risky and couldn't afford losing that money, so I didn't buy any coins. Around the same time a friend that called, telling me he was buying a $2,000 gaming computer, I told him instead of investing $2,000 in a stupid gaming computer which will keep you off task from college, invest that $2,000 in bitcoin if you have nothing else to do with it, one day you will thank me. Well today he ignores me and I think we have lost our friendship.
Fast forward to this year
Last month I told my self I'm not letting the same thing happen to me as it did a few years ago, missing out on huge potential profits. It's time to step into the Bitcoin market. I made an educated decision to buy because anything with potential profits in tech promotes a lot of buzz. Just look at what happened with twitter IPO was around $20, and now it is trading around $50. Also, with all of the talk in media and some of the Feds were pro on the notion of crypto currencies, so I decided to play low risk and spend $400 to buy coin last month @500/coin. I sold out when my investment was worth $800. Then I did some day trading on bitfinex. "Lets play with house money"(The money that you have won from trades. House Money Effect - profits from trades are more likely used to fund positions with higher risk), In a period of a few days I reached a high of $2,000 and in a matter of a few hours I was back to $400 because I went to work and wasn't able to close my position. (Lesson 2: "When day trading set a stop order to cover yourself from losing money and/or, if you aren't at the computer to watch charts its always a good idea to not have any position open in the highly volatile market of BTC.") Then I thought "hmm, let me invest $5,600 into day trading and once I make a decent profit I will get out and transfer the money back to my bank". I've been pretty successful so far trading so lets invest some more money.
$5,600 is a moderate risk for me because It is about half of my savings, but that risk was worth it when I saw the major bear signal, bad news in China, and lots of selling. It's more of a moderate risk because fortunately I live with my parents, work full time retail (not making the best amount of money) but at least they pay for my community college, so $5,600 is a risk but I am working through college so I will make that back no matter what. And the money is to fund something that I will most likely profit from after making an executive decision that I would short bitcoin with those funds due to bad news in china, high selling, and many other factors.
I decided to send the $5,600 to bitfinex. Lesson 3: Don't risk what you can't afford to lose. In my case I have a full time job, live with parents, have a car, no debt, money in checking and savings account, and have my college paid for by work. So I can afford to lose $5,600.
Right now my out of pocket cost on putting money into bitcoin trading is about $6000. I did a few trades and would bounce between $7,000 and back to $5,600 last week.
Now this week was a major bearish signal for me, I put $5,600 into a short order and kept shorting back and forth. Within 5-6 hours I tripled my money with a high of $18,000 yesterday. At that point I said "let me put that money in the bank, I'm already up over 300% of my investment", but my heart said "I've already made x3 my original investment, lets try to x3 $18,000, its house money any ways.(The money that you have won from trades. House Money Effect - profits from trades are more likely used to fund positions with higher risk). My medium term goal has been to make enough money for a down payment on a house to rent out at 20 years old. I decided I will keep trading, I knew that $18,000 may go back down but with the way bitcoin is lots of people got in believing they will make tons of money but when they realise the true value of coin is well bellow $500 everyone will panic and sell.** Lesson 4: "The bull rises slowly and the bear jumps out the window" ** Especially when BTC is in a bubble and the incompetent buyers who invest in coin see the price is getting dumped they will do the same. Drastically making the price drop because there is no support, rather than coming down slowly.
Within a few trades that $18,000 turned to $10,000. I took a break and waited until last nigh (Wednesday night/Thursday early morning) when trading was quiet but still moving downwards slowly. I have been following trading patterns and with bad news still in china to me another crash was bound to happen. Everyone last night was saying "oh we are going to crash again" and even looking at the charts that was another major bearish signal for me. Looking at the history on the charts compared to the sell off on Tuesday night, it looked like the same would happen Wednesday night. So I put that $10,000 back into short, next thing you know china is pumping out of no where, to me it was a bull trap. Well I was wrong and I ended up closing my position, and now I'm back to $5600. Still a few hundred dollars below my initial investment. Lesson 5: Don't get greedy and risk too much. I tried to push my profits too far, without realizing I was already up 300% and should have reduced risk. I was trading at 4x leverage, After I made it to $18,000 I should have reduced my leverage or not put as much money into a position. Lesson 6: Don't listen to what any else says to make your decision, be independent when trading, because you never know who is swimming naked until the tide goes out.
I am pretty mad at myself because at the point of time before I put that short order in last night I was thinking, what if this is what china wants us to think, we have had a crash 2-3 times in a row. I'm upset today because not only did I lose out on even more potential profits but I am set back to less than my original investment. I though, what if they create a pump and make the market think we are heading "back to the moon" if you would say? I thought "no, that can't happen the market agrees we are bearish, and the value of bitcoin is based on the population that is involved in bitcoin and most of them are bearish." So, I'm sort of mad that I didn't take a long position because $10,000 would have taken a 76BTC long position at $520/btc, and now which would be worth $11,000-$15,000 or even more if I kept adding more BTC to my long position on the way up. And here's another lesson Lesson 7: Don't keep falling on the negatives and opportunities you didn't grab in the past thinking "what if" "I was going to do this but.." and "why didn't I do this", "if I did X" "I would have $100,000" etc."
So, what lesson did I learn and need to en-script it into my head? "Get out while you are ahead", and I believe you all should do the same, especially in this current highly manipulated and volatile market but some will still get lucky, now it is more like gambling. As of today no one knows what chinas true intentions are so I'm not trading for a while. And I believe for new traders that don't know much should stay out of trading until more news in china comes out, because who knows how long this pumping from china will continue and what if it sparks more people to buy in causing the price to sky rocket back to $1000, and at any time whales can dump because they’ve already made their profits, and know another crash is bound to happen so they will dump their coins and buy in when BTC hits another low, rinse and repeat. Lesson 8: do research on trading before trading bitcoin, or stocks." Here is a good source of information to learn about trading, different types of orders, and do and don’t s http://www.investopedia.com/active-trading/ If I ended up reading this stuff in the first place I would have more insight of how to trade and what to do in certain situations.
My day trading days with bitcoin are over for a few days because at this point either bitcoin is going to keep getting manipulated and out of no where whales may crash, especially after hitting a low 3 nights in a row. Now I am just lending USD on Bitfinex.com at 1% per day for a few days to calm down and reminisce on the positives of how I tripled my money. Also, I need to devise a plan on how to not go from having everything to going back to one thing.
I know some have questions about lending on Bitfinex.com. It is great because it is low risk and low reward, over time the money does add up. And it's a good way to let me study the market by still making guaranteed profits. I lent out $5600 for 3 days with an interest rate of 1% per day, after 3 days and minimal fees I will profit $151 off my 3 day investment of $5600. I love the fact all of the risk is on the trader not the lender. The trader needs money in his account to cover any loses he may make and the fees to be paid back to the lender.
How does lending work still? Well for example: Bob has $500 in his account and wants to borrow $500 to buy 1 bitcoin because he believes bitcoin will rise and wants take risk and try to double his profits. So Bob borrowed the $500 and is paying .1% interest on it daily. Now Bob has a total of $1000 to buy 1 bitcoin @ $1000. OMG Bitcoin rose to $1100 today, and Bob wants to close his position, he closed it and he gets back his initial investment of $500 + the profit he made on the trade which was $100 because his starting $1k turned into 1BTC that is now worth $1100. And I the lender get my $500 back + $5 paid in interest.
But wait, the lender didn't lose any money because Bob went positive, what if Bob goes negative? Won't I lose money? Well lets work this out. Same casenario Bob has $500 in his account and wants to borrow $500 to buy 1 bitcoin because he believes bitcoin will rise and wants take risk and try to double his profits. So Bob borrowed the $500 and is paying .1% interest on it daily. Now Bob has a total of $1000 to buy 1 bitcoin @ $1000. OMG Bitcoin is now at $500 and is about to reach $400, WTF my long position closed for no reason screw you bitfinex. Well if you read the side bar it says required net margin must be at least 65% or your position will close. Bobs networth went from $1k to $650, 65% of 1k is $650 so Bobs long position closed and he gets back his less than his initial investment, he gets back $150 and has to pay the $5 interest fee And I the lender get my $500 back + $5 paid in interest.
See lending and borrowing are that simple, I tried to simplify it some.
I hope you guys learned something from my experience within the last few months.
I still can't get over the fact I was up to $18,000, it's depressing because the money I had made was the amount of me working for almost 8 months. It's hard to get out of my head that I had that much money and it was gone in no time. I know another opportunity awaits. Maybe within a week or so after studying the market I will get back in with a new game plan, and sticking to new rules. Thinking optimistically, I tippled my money in a few hours by trading on bitfinex.com.
On a side note for those of you who do trade, Bitfinex.com is an exceptional platform allowing trading, and margin trading for taking short/long positions on BTC and LTC. They also let you lend/borrow LTC, BTC, and USD. If there is anyone who wants to trade on Bitfinex.com I do have a coupon code for 10% off trades for a month, use the code RAgkOOFTJL
Just remember "Get out while your ahead" and don't get too greedy like me if you trade.
