The gap between PC and console has never been greater...end the console player genocide.
This will be a long post so bare with me if you give a shit about this issue. If you cba to read an essay then I totally understand and have a good day. I've been here since day 1. I love this game. Ive played it for nearly 3 years now. I play on an Xbox one. I've seen every season, every meta, every OP weapon, whatever, I've been there, I've experienced it. When forced crossplay came in late season 10 but mainly chapter 2 I was nervous. Throughout season 11 I was very vocal on this subreddit along with many others about how I thought it was detrimental to the game as a console player. Obviously to no avail. I admit in season 12 I conceeded that it just wasn't going to change, I'd got my head around exploiting console aim assist to the max in an attempt to level the playing field. I'd changed my play style to be more passive and focus on AR fights and snipes as opposed to close quarters. I stopped posting here because tbh it stopped bothering me. I adapted I guess and just made the best of a shitty situation. This season from day 1 it was apparent that something had changed relative to my aim. Everything was suddenly very loose. I was aware of the aim assist nerfs that had happened on PC. I'd read that it only affected controller on PC. I can tell you right now that this is not the case and I'd expect other console players to agree. All of a sudden I can't hit shit in an AR fight like I used too. Tracking is all over place, the slow-down when your reticule targets a player barely sticks at all. I've lowered my sens to try and compensate but it's nowhere near what it was in season 12. It was obvious that whatever changes they made have also affected console too. This wouldn't be an issue if we were playing on a level playing field, but we're not. I have nothing against PC players, and I fully agree that aim assist on PC was broken and needed to be addressed. It felt unfair right? You'd die and feel powerless, like no matter what you did you couldn't do anything against someone with an advantage which is hardwired. It was this injustice which motivated big streamers and normal players alike to shout out and get Epic to take action. This injustice is what console players feel like all the time and it's never been as bad as it is this season. Im well aware I'll be told that I'm complaining, they'll be console players who it doesn't bother, this is making a fuss about nothing etc. If there are console players who don't mind forced crossplay that's fine. I'm not drawing a line in the sand in a console Vs PC war. There is no war. PC is Man City. Console is Accrington Stanley (Yeah I'm English). All I'm asking for (and a lot of other console players based on posts I've read recently) is a toggle to choose whether or not I fight PC players OR to revert to chapter 1 matchmaking where people could choose to play arena to challenge themselves. This isn't an ultimatum, it's a plea and any player with integrity would agree that PC players and console players should not be put together unless they choose too. It honestly ruins what would be a great competitive game. I'm sorry for turning this into an essay but it's something I'm passionate about and I believe every platform would benefit from this and have better lobbies. Some toxic PC players may enjoy pub-stomping but I bet the vast majority feel pretty cheap about killing console players for easy wins. Don't even get me started on how raw a deal switch and mobile players have. Epic, if you see this, please consider either making forced crossplay optional or just get rid of it completely. The game would be so much better for everyone. GGs only.

I've just received an article from one of our writers about Asian corner betting. It makes sense to me, but wanted to see if you think there is anything that should be added / reworded? All feedback gratefully received!
Asian Corner Betting
To fully understand Asian corner betting, it is essential to break down the concept into steps and consider the increasing benefits along the way. First, there is the choice to bet on corners: why would you and how does it work? Second, there is the standard handicap market for betting on corners: how is this better? Finally, how does Asian corner betting improve your chances even more?
Corner betting
There are so many ways you can place a bet on a corner. You can choose the total number of corners, selecting between over, under and exactly. You can opt to predict the team that wins the most corners, gets the first corner, or is most likely to score from a corner. A race bet on corners allows you to gamble on which team will reach a set number of corners first. You can also limit your bets on corners to the first or second half; betting on the time of the corner; odd or even number of corners and which player will take the corner. In short, there are a lot of, but some of these options are not so brilliant and waste your time and money. The corner bets to avoid include the timing of the first corner, which is almost impossible to predict based on any sort of skill. You are trusting to luck. Also, selecting an odd/ even market might seem you have a 50:50 chance of success but the odds will be poor, and you will lose 50% of the time.
Handicap corner betting
A development of corner betting is the standard corner handicap. This allows you to extract more value from your bet. Where the match-up between teams is obviously in favour of one side over the other, odds will be poor. Manchester City playing Accrington Stanley is a David and Goliath match-up of epic proportions. Therefore, the odds on Man City getting the most corners are going to be poor. You can improve your return by starting Accrington Stanley ahead of City, with City starting – 5, for instance. With this system, Man City would have to get 6 more corners that Accrington for the bet to succeed. This system of betting gives you more control over your bet. You can choose the handicap and so impact the odds. You can design the bet that gives you the best chance to get the highest return. We like this because it takes genuine skill and analysis of form and statistics.
Asian corner betting
Asian corner betting is similar to standard handicap corner betting. Asian betting can be applied across the markets on football and essentially acknowledges that one team is better than the other. It is a market that began in Indonesia, hence Asian betting. As with standard handicap betting, you decide that one team will need to win more corners for it to be a fair contest. Most gamblers acknowledge that there is little point in backing the favourite. Over time the odds are such that you will lose money. However, betting on outsiders depends on a turn in fortune that your gut might not believe will happen. Asian corner betting, as with standard handicap betting, allows you to design the bet, increasing the value by handicapping the favourite. Asian corner betting is different because you have the chance to retrieve your stake if it is a tie. This means there is the standard win/ lose option. However, there is the third option of a draw, where all the favourite has done is cancel out the handicap. At this point, the bet is considered void, as there is no winner, and so it is as if the bet did not happen.
The takeaway
Betting on most corner markets is exciting. Increasing the value of your bet requires skill and so more engagement in the challenge. Being able to retrieve your stake if your handicap is wiped out and there is no winner sustain your enjoyment in this market. Asian corner betting is a way to increase the excitement of watching the match, as well as employing skill to design the bet, as well as feeling fairly treated when you haven’t technically lost. This is the reason to seek out the Asian corner betting market. https://thefootytipster.com/asian-corner-betting/

Match notes A good luck message from John Green. The big day has arrived. After season of ups and downs, a mixture of heartbreak, joy, darkness (literally!), it has all come down to this. It's the League 2 play-off final on the big stage. A chance for the Dons to be promoted for the sixth time since the club's formation 14 years ago today, and join the other League Two promotees; Northampton Town, Oxford United, and Bristol Rovers in League One for the first time in the 2016/17 season. Finishing 7th this season, AFC Wimbledon were the last club to advance to the League Two play-offs, overcoming Accrington Stanley over two legs and extra time (in dramatic fashion) to reach the final today. Plymouth Argyle finished the League Two season in 5th to secure a spot in the play-offs. They are in the final today at the expense of Portsmouth, whom they beat 1-0 at home in their second leg semi-final after drawing 2-2 away in the first leg. Plymouth have been in this position before, having made it to the then Third Division (fourth tier) Play-Off final in 1996, winning promotion to the Second Division (third tier). ROWETT EXPECTS BUTLAND TO STAY
Stoke boss Gary Rowett is confident Jack Butland will stay and believes he can still fulfil his England ambitions at the club. The Potters are yet to receive a serious offer for the 25-year-old after relegation from the Premier League last season. Rowett said: "I expect him to stay, I hope he stays. I'm also pragmatic enough to know it's football and anything can happen in the last few days of the window. "I imagine he would be the type of player who some teams would covet. I'm a realist but I hope he's still here. "I can only react and answer what's in front of me. The answer is we haven't had an offer which the club feel is financially viable - or I don't think any strong offer yet. "Jack has never made any real moves to want to leave and he's contracted to us and we're not even a week away from the first game." 21:45
VRSALJKO TO INTER, ARIAS TO ATLETI
Sime Vrsaljko has left Atletico Madrid to join Inter Milan on loan, with PSV right-back Santiago Arias replacing him at the Wanda Metropolitano. Inter will have the option to turn Vrsaljko's loan into a permanent deal, according to Sky in Italy. They had been seeking a replacement for Joao Cancelo, who has joined Serie A rivals Juventus. Vrsaljko's arrival at Inter could affect Matteo Darmian's future. The San Siro was touted as a possible destination for the want-away Manchester United full-back, but Inter's interest may now have cooled. 21:42
SMITH JOINS OXFORD ON LOAN
Oxford have signed striker Sam Smith from Reading on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old could made his U’s debut in Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash with Barnsley. 21:25

ROWETT: CROUCH HAS ROLE TO PLAY
Stoke manager Gary Rowett insists Peter Crouch has a pivotal role to play in the club’s bid to earn an immediate return to the Premier League. Crouch is understood to be interesting Burnley over a summer departure from the bet365 Stadium before the transfer deadline on August 9. "Crouchy is certainly not one of those players we want to lose," Rowett told SSN at the EFL launch. "He is the type of guy you want around the group. He has obviously played in the Championship before so he knows what it is about. "He is a Premier League quality striker and he is such a different option to have. We all know of his aerial ability." 20:35
MACKINNON EAGER TO SEE HOW NEW BOYS FARE
Hamilton skipper Darian MacKinnon has warned the club's new players that they will need to learn fast in Scotland's top flight. Six of Accies' nine summer signings will be playing in the Ladbrokes Premiership for the first time and Hamilton have not had the best of preparations for Saturday's season opener against Hearts. MacKinnon said: "We have lost a few players and brought the new ones in so it will be interesting to see how they cope in the Premiership. "They are all good players having seen them in games and training but it will be interesting to see if they can do it in the Premiership on a consistent basis because they have been playing kids' football. "They will see when Hearts come to town on Saturday that you have not got time for six or seven touches, it's a touch and then bang. So we will soon see." 20:04
RODGERS: NO CHANGE TO RECRUITMENT POLICY
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers insists nothing has changed in the recruitment process at Parkhead. At the media conference ahead of his side's Champions League clash in Rosenborg, Rodgers said, with regards to recruitment: "It is exactly the same as when I walked in. "We will look to find players that fit the profile of the club and very importantly, the profile of how we play and once we have found the player, it will be over to the club to try to do a deal to bring the player in. "So it is as simple as that. There is no confusion, there is no change." 19:39
ALISSON: I FEEL AT HOME ALREADY
Alisson has trained with his Liverpool team-mates for the first time and says he already "feels at home" at the club. Liverpool paid a world-record fee for a goalkeeper in capturing the Brazil international from Roma for £65m this month and he has now joined Jurgen Klopp's men at their training base in France. "It has been a great day which I had been looking forward to," Alisson told Liverpool's official website. "I've had a good few resting days with my family but we all couldn't wait to get the new season under way soon. It's only my first day and I feel at home already." 19:03
MAN UTD'S CHIEF SCOUT LEAVES FOR ZENIT

Ipswich are understood to have made an offer in the region of £700,000 for the 26-year-old centre back. The Tangerines have not yet accepted the offer however. And sources have told SSN they previously indicated they would let Tilt leave Bloomfield Road this summer. 18:18

Leeds United forward Hadi Sacko has joined Las Palmas on loan until the end of the season. The 24-year-old moved to Elland Road on loan two years ago from Sporting Lisbon, before making the move permanent last summer. However, Sacko made just 18 appearances in all competition for Leeds last season, and they have now allowed him to join Segunda Division side Las Palmas. They finished 19th in La Liga last season, and are now preparing for life in the second tier. 17:47
IPSWICH SIGN DONACIEN
Ipswich Town have signed defender Janoi Donacien on loan from Accrington Stanley. The two clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the 24-year-old, and the move will become permanent once Donacien - who was born in St Lucia - receives a work permit. Accrington say the fee for Donacian - who can play anywhere across the defence - will be the largest they have ever received for a player. https://twitter.com/Official_ITFC/status/1024339110075539457 17:15

'I THOUGHT RONALDO DEAL WAS IMPOSSIBLE'
Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini admits he assumed a deal to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Turin from Real Madrid was "impossible". Chiellini was not optimistic a deal for Ronaldo, who trained with his new team-mates in Turin for the first time on Tuesday, would be completed, but believes he will transform the title-winning side.
