Jose Mourinho will be keen on collecting his first trophy of the season. The Londoners have been in good form all season leading in the Premier League by 5 points over Manchester City and going unbeaten in the Champions League so far. After a couple shaky performances during the Christmas period Chelsea have since stabilized. However one of their two defeats this season has come at the hands of todays opponents. Tottenham beat Chelsea convincingly at White Hart Lane earlier in the season. However in my opinion if Chelsea bring their A game I can't see them losing. Tottenham Hotspur:
Tottenhams season started the opposite to Chelseas. Some disappointing performances had some fans calling for Pochettinos head. However they have improved and now sit 7th in the Premier League. They've only lost 2 games since early December in the League and with an in form Harry Kane Spurs will be keen to mirror their previous performance against Chelsea, coming out 5-3 winners. Tottenhams last trophy came in 2008 where they won the League Cup beating todays opponents Chelsea 2-1 aet. They will need to be at their best to beat Chelsea and Harry Kane will need to score. Managers: : Jose Mourinho : Mauricio Pochettino Starting Line-Ups:

Welcome back to the Premier League Previews series, a series where a fan gives an overview of his team for your perusal, and I get an excuse to take pot-shots at other clubs. This will run until the eve of the Premier League, taking a look at each club in turn. Today we're popping our Bournemouth cherry with a trip to the south coast. About
Things started fairly well, despite being narrowly robbed by West Ham and beaten by both Manchester sides our early skirmishes included beating a very strong Everton team 1-0 with a superb performance, smashing Hull 6-1 and a creditable 0-0 draw against a (usually) free scoring Spurs side. Things started to go awry around christmas and our defence became a meme- consistently conceding three goals (at least) every game (in seven out of eight games between November and January). Despite this horrendous spell the period did contain two of our most memorable games- Beating Liverpool 4-3 after being 3-1 down (Thanks Karius!) and a rare tactical error from Howe allowing Arsenal to claw back a 3-0 defecit to draw 3-3. Eddie Howe always pulls it around in March though, and after a spirited draw at Old Trafford which will forever be remembered for Mings vs Zlatan, we only lost 2 more games all year, to Chelsea and Tottenham. Given that by all accounts we have the 17th highest wage bill in the division 9th should be recognised as an enormous achievement and a testament to the faith Howe has in his attacking football. To sum up, aside from an 11 game spell through xmas in January the side competed well and never really looked in trouble of relegation, so I’m going to get on my soapbox about Eddie Howe’s deplorable attitude to cup competitions. After previous seasons where Howe would have played the under 10’s team if he could, all of us Cherries knew what to expect- but Howe peaked this year with one of the worst cup performances in the history of the club, an insult to fans. Selecting one of the most bizarre squads ever which included winger Marc Pugh at right back and Lewis Grabban ludicrously used as a professional footballer (I'm so, so sorry Sunderland fans), the 3-0 to League 1 Milwall should be a sign to Howe that things need to improve this year, especially as we also went out to Preston in the EFL cup. It’s no insult to the teams who quite soundly beat us to say that Howe’s selection and attitude to the defeats was disappointing to all of Bournemouth’s supporters.
This Season
Whisper it quietly but for the first time since we came up I don’t expect we’ll be in trouble this year. My Dad always says ‘are there 3 worse sides in the division?’, and unless things change enormously between now and the end of the transfer window I think most fans would agree that on paper there are more than three. As a result I would be extremely surprised if we ended up going down. Having said that 46 was such a low number of points to finish in 9th position it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we matched or beat last season’s total but still finished in the bottom half. 13th is my best guess, but if everything clicks at the back and we stay injury free I don’t think we’ll be scared of many teams. Steve Cook basically is our defence, on his own, so you can dismiss all of the above positivity if he does get a long term injury. We’d immediately find ourselves in real trouble. THINGS I WANT. -To take a point from Manchester City. We’ve never even got close to looking competitive against them and they’ve smashed us 15-1 on aggregate over the 4 times we’ve played them. -Finally beat Watford. We’ve now drawn four games in a row and six of the last seven, beating them only once. Given that their fans have this weird obsession with us I’d love to do the double over them this year, especially as me & Whiffers have a charity bet on who’ll finish higher. -Finally, finally sort out the defence. Signing Ake and Begovic is a huge help, but tactics also contribute to our leaky back line. -Dignified, and serious cup performances. (See above) Transfers Highlights
All incoming/outgoing transfersFull 2016-17 squad 3 players to watch out for Lewis Cook Everyone is saying 'why don't Bournemouth want Wilshere back' and the truth is, of course we would want him back- if we didn't have Lewis Cook. Whisper it quietly, but he looks like he has the potential to be even better. After recovering from a broken foot last year his performances at the back end of last season showed real talent, backed up by winning the U-20 world cup as captain. He needs to improve his pass completion in the final third and maintain posession a little more often but I have a feeling this will be a huge season for him. Nathan Ake Signed for a club record £20M he gives Eddie Howe an interesting dilemma at the heart of defence. Club Captain Simon Francis has been starting here since we were promoted but he now looks like his best years are behind him at times. I've picked him as a player to watch not just because he's our record signing, but because it's going to be a big change to the dynamic at the heart of defence. Steve Cook, Charlie Daniels and Simon Francis have been playing as a unit since we were in the third tier. Will Ake cock it up or finally fix our "concede three goals per game" defensive frailties? Dan Gosling Conclusive proof that if Eddie Howe is your manager it doesn't matter how poor your first touch is, as long as you run your absolute tits off you've got a job for life. Prepare for some comedy gold, energetic, error strewn performances. Inexplicably a fan's favourite but odds on to be bloody entertaining for all the wrong reasons on Match of the Day. What the fans think Thanks to /AFCBournemouthfor their help.
How do you think this season will go?
I think the season will be good. I feel we have more depth than we have had in the past and should be able to compete strongly with anyone all season. I like to think that 8th is somewhere we can finish but there will be steady competitition for that spot. I believe we'll finish anywhere from 8th to 10th.
We will stay up again, but potentially a little lower in the standings and maybe a few less points as last year. For a team that can beat anyone and lose to anyone i think form is always going to be an issue. I hope that when we do struggle it's not for too long. After 2 good seasons I wouldn't want to find us in the relegation zone, young team may feel the pressure. On a more positive note, I think Eddie will want a cup run this year which I'm hoping will mean a quarter final in one of the cups.
Which player is going to be your star of the season and why?
Hard to say a star of the season because we're very much a team. Last seasons player of the year, steve cook, will be in with a big shout and if Defoe or king can get 15 goals so will they. Ake will be a dark horse too.
---------------------Begovic-------------------- ---S. Cook------Daniels---------Aké------------Mings/Cargill----- ----Ibe/Stanislas------Arter-----Cook------------Fraser- ------------------King--------------Defoe/Afobe---------------- Bench: Ibe/Stanislas, Mousset, Boruc, Defoe/Afobe, Mings/Cargill, Ramsdale(?). I can't predict the rest of the bench due to youth players such as Worthington and Surridge maybe wiggling their way in.
Ive got no big idea on how I think we'll line up. Defoe, king, ake, cook, Daniels, Arter are all nailed on but apart from then anyone could play. Stanislas will start too if he's not injured.
by NickTM Summary: A third consecutive season for the Cherries sees them strengthening their squad in all departments, but for how long can they continue to punch above their weight? What to say: It's a whole new spiiiiine! What you might end up saying: Who put Dan Gosling on technique training?! Why to like them: Plucky underdogs. Jermain Defoe was well-liked before the Bradley Lowery story, but now is verging on footballing sweetheart terrain. Eddie Howe's a canny young manager with a rare eye for a tactical switch. Why to dislike them: Despite playing decent enough stuff when on the ball, Bournemouth have no qualms about snippy rotational fouling which is enough to annoy anyone. Artur Boruc won't be starting, which means we won't get many comedy moments from the goalkeeper. If the team was a Simpsons character, it would be: Ned Flanders. The upbeat nature of Bournemouth in general does tend to get a little grating.
Vote for where you think Bournemouth will finish here.
Welcome to this year's Premier League Previews series. This will be a series running until the start of the Premier League, taking a look at each club in turn. From our last destination we now turn west, and then keep going until everything - sea, rocks, and sky - turn grey, for it is only then that we can tell we are in South Wales, home of Swansea. About
The last year was certainly a tale of two halves for the Jacks. Club legend Garry Monk struggled, and with few signs of being able to turn it around and the club looking at the wrong end of the table, he was dismissed in December. Since then, a joint effort between Alan Curtis and Francesco Guidolin end the season comfortably safe, with a points average that would have seen a possible push for a European place if stretched across the whole season - good enough that the board saw fit to make Guidolin's position more permanent with an extended contract, rather than push to bring back Brendan Rodgers. It wasn't a joyful season for Swans fans. Even with improved results, a cloud hung over the atmosphere at the Liberty as they ground their way to midtable, which only cleared with a few games to go as safety became guaranteed. A club that has not had to endure the struggle of a real relegation battle before now during this spell in the top flight, it could be said that there was a struggle for the supporters to enjoy the positives when the red zone of the Sky table graphics was so near for much of the season. A lengthy process of new ownership possibly arriving added further doubt to the short term (and long term) direction of the club, which left many focused over their shoulders rather than at the improvement on the pitch. However, with a strong showing in the final ten games, many will be satisfied that the team has put themselves in good stead for the approaching season.
This Season
So what can be said about the season ahead? At this point in time, as an optimist, not much. There are new owners who are an unknown quantity to how they will deal with running a club in a relegation/promotion system, coming from the distant land of the USA. There have been a lot of big outward transfers, particularly in the striker department, and very little in terms of incoming players. The optimistic view is that Swansea are just doing their business late, and hopefully some quality will arrive that will lead to a better season than the one past. The pessimist view is that Swansea, for whatever reason, can't secure their targets, and more (Williams, Ayew, Sigurðsson) are at risk of getting poached. There are a couple of promising youth prospects on the fringes; Stephen Kingsley was signed from Falkirk and got some successful minutes at the tail-end of the season (an unlucky own goal notwithstanding), while Oliver McBurnie has impressed at youth level and during the preseason since arriving from Bradford. Many fans in the East Stand will be hoping to see more from these two at senior level - look out for a tall striker with short socks and you'll know McBurnie has made the first team. So what's left to say? Not much, unfortunately. This may be one of the shortest season previews of the league this year, primarily because there's little yet to discuss other than speculative transfer rumours. At the time of writing, it's the day before you're all reading this; waiting for something to write about has forcefully come to an end, which leaves this section on a very vague note: watch this space. Transfers Highlights
All incoming/outgoing transfersFull 2016-17 squad 3 players to watch out for Ashley Williams He's captain of Wales. Assuming he lines up with the Swans this season, he'll remain the shepherd of the Swans defence, and he'll be as popular with the fans as ever. It's his first season starting after a major tournament despite being the wrong side of 30, so the risk of tiredness is there - however, never expect anything less than complete commitment from the Premier League's version of The Thing. That refers of course to the Fantastic Four hero - strong and dependable. Unlike the shapeshifting namesake he is a model of consistency and reliability. Gylfi Sigurðsson Another Euros hero, he'll be another popular man in South Wales for a slightly different reason - knocking out the English. Everyone knows what he's capable of, and that's a Lampardesque ability to both create and finish, and has the additional benefit of a wicked free kick. Gylfi's been keen to assert his commitment to the Jacks, and most will expect him to be our afest bet of a good season at the front end of the lineup. The key question with him now is which striker lines up in front of him, and how much of a rapport they can build. Expect Viking chants in abundance from the Liberty this year. Stephen Kingsley The previously mentioned Scottish youth talent. He impressed in the last few games of the season, and will be seen as Neil Taylor's main competition for the left back spot - and the ball is in his court with Taylor coming off a gruelling Euro campaign. While a fairly well known name back home (with 88 first team appearances for Falkirk primarily as a teenager), if any unknown in the English game is going to make a name for himself in this current side, this is your man. A solid Premier League debut and start in a win away at Arsenal shows that the manager has confidence in his ability, and that he's shown reason for it. What the fans think Thanks to /swanseacity for their truly huge amounts of help. Seriously, go check out the thread, there's a lot there.
How do you think this season will go?
"I'm very pessimistic this season and can honestly see us being left behind with everyone spending their money getting quality players and we're stuck with a weakened team from last season that struggled to reach the same heights of 2014/15."
"Last season was woeful and we somehow finished 12th. I really think we will have a better season, after a preseason with Guidolin, and I have full faith he will put us into the top 10. In saying that, I still think we need to sign a striker (like what everyone else except the board is thinking right now). Also, a rb would be lovely, with an ageing Rangel and meh.. Naughton as our only experienced options at the time being."
Which player is going to be your star of the season and why?
"Sigurdsson is the obvious choice, he really does play a key role for us in terms of both getting and making goals, how well Ayew does up front is also likely to be key. Barrow looks more and more ready to make a sustained impact if given the chance from the right wing and hopefully both McBurnie and Kingsley will get some chances to impress early on."
"Aside from the obvious answers in Ayew, Sigurdsson, and Williams, I think one guy who may breakout and really play well for us this year is Jack Cork. He's a smart player and showed near the end of the year last year that he could make things happen (see: Jack Cork vs Liverpool ). If he can earn himself some playing time this year and get a rapport with Sigurdsson and Ayew he could be a real star. I also see Fabianski doing well, keeping us in some games all by himself." Monk_vas_Funk "Mine I hope will be Modou Barrow. The kid is rapid and packed with skill. Was used more and more as the season progressed last year and was tearing fullbacks apart. Him on one wing and Ayew on the other with a good striker up top is the dream."
"A lot will depend on the next couple weeks and who is signed. If we get a quality striker in, then I could see Ayew going back to the wings. At this point though (and looking at some of the names we have been linked with) I think we enter the season with Ayew leading the line. I am excited about Barrow this season as he just keeps on looking better from the right wing. Predicted lineup"
by NickTM (and with Jamaicaman90 butting in) Summary: After an unsteady season finding their feet again last year, Swansea look ready to push on once more. Will Francesco Guidolin prove to be a flash in the pan, or the real deal? What to say: It's a Welsh invasion! - Jamaicaman90 What you might end up saying: Bloody Americans. - Jamaicaman90 Why to like them: Why wouldn't you like them? Swansea still retain at very least a vestige of the attractive playstyle that they entered the league with. Gylfi Sigurdsson is something of a throwback, a true 10 who makes the play and occasionally ruins the goal net from 25 yards. Why to dislike them: Fucking Welsh interlopers. Basically just a shit Cardiff City, who are themselves in the shadow of the Wrexham. Irritatingly inoffensive. Think they're better than us because they actually use that stupid 'd' in Sigurdsson's name correctly. If the team was a food, it would be: Rarebit. Welsh, cheap, and practically universally popular.

Chelsea are finally starting to get going in this summer's transfer window, according to Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville. "For me, Courtois is one of the best," the former Man Utd captain told Sky Sports' Premier League launch show. "I absolutely love him. I know people say I’m critical of 'keepers, but I also love quite a few keepers and I absolutely love Courtois. "He’s [Kepa] got big shoes to fill and it’s a big price. Pep Guardiola said in an interview with us that Chelsea are going to do quite a lot of business in the next few days and obviously the market talks and agents talk. "Chelsea look like they are moving. They have been a little slow in the transfer market and a little bit less obvious in the transfer market over the last few years than they have been previously. It looks like they are making a move again." 18:22
MILAN IN BAKAYOKO TALKS
AC Milan in talks to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on loan, according to Sky Italy. The France international arrived from Monaco last summer for £40m. 18:15
'KEPA A BIG GAMBLE'
Chelsea's potential world-record capture of Bilbao 'keeper Kepa is a big risk, according to former Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason. "It is a big gamble," he told SSN. "It is going to be very difficult to replace Courtois because for me he is in the top three to five 'keepers in the world. He has proven that over a number of years now. "I do not see many 'keepers who can come in and replace that. So to now go and sign someone for an extortionate amount of money that is not proven to be one of the so-called best in the world is a big risk." 17:57
RODRIGUEZ STARTS FOR BAGGIES
West Brom striker Jay Rodriguez starts against Nottingham Forest in the Championship tonight, a match you can follow live on Sky Sports Football and SkySports.com. Burnley are set to make an improved offer of £18m later on Tuesday, SSN understands. 17:44
CHELSEA IN ADVANCED £71.6M KEPA TALKS
Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign Bilbao 'keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to Sky sources. It is understood the 23-year-old – a Spain international with one cap – would cost the Blues £71.6m, which would be a world-record fee for a 'keeper. Reports in Spain this evening have gone as far as to say that Chelsea’s intentions are fly the player to London on Wednesday and have him train on Thursday, with the hope he could make his debut in their season-opener against Huddersfield on Saturday. 17:37

Here is a quick roundup of where we stand with today's main transfer stories... 17:23
BOGLE BACK WITH BIRMINGHAM ON LOAN
Cardiff City striker Omar Bogle has joined Birmingham City on a season-long loan. The deal marks a return to St Andrews for the 25-year-old, who came through City's youth ranks before being released in the summer of 2011. Bogle dropped into non-league football with Hinckley United, Solihull Moors and Grimsby Town, who he helped secure promotion from the National League. He joined Wigan in January 2017 but was on the move again at the end of that season, joining Cardiff for a fee of £700,000. 17:16
PEP: CITY'S BUSINESS OVER
Man City manager Pep Guardiola has told Sky Sports' Premier League launch show that the champions will not sign anymore players this summer. City have so far signed just Riyad Mahrez from Leicester for £60m and Claudio Gomes on a free from PSG. 17:09
Leicester 'keeper Kasper Schmeichel has hit out at the "exceptionally harsh" treatment of new Burnley signing Joe Hart, saying people have very short memories. He said: "I've known Joe for a long time and I think he's been exceptionally harshly treated in many respects. "Not just what happened at Man City, where I don't think he was given a chance to prove what he could do, and then the whole England debacle I found that quite staggering at the time. "But for Joe, the important thing is to get home, stay living at home and get a bit of normality back into his life." 16:44

Leicester manager Claude Puel says it is important they keep Harry Maguire amid Man Utd's interest in the defender. "For me it's good for Leicester to keep a valuable player, and it's important to show good ambition for the next season," Puel told Sky Sports News. "I can understand some speculation about our player because he has good attributes, but I am happy to keep him and hopefully start a great season. "We lost Riyad Mahrez, who was a very good player for us. After Riyad it was important to keep our players and add some good players to strengthen the team." 15:33

Jamie Redknapp and Danny Murphy believe Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho should make Paul Pogba his captain at Old Trafford in order to keep the France playmaker at the club. 14:43

Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett expects new signing David Wheeler to boost the club’s goal threat. The 27-year-old forward has joined Pompey on a season-long loan deal from QPR. Wheeler joined the Rs last summer from Exeter but was hampered by injury and made only nine appearances, scoring one goal. But Wheeler had netted 39 times in four seasons with Exeter before his move to Loftus Road. 14:30
BURNLEY & DERBY IN VYDRA-WELLS TALKS
Burnley are in talks to sign Matej Vydra (pictured) permanently from Derby County, with Nahki Wells moving in the other direction on loan, according to Sky sources. Both players are understood to be ready to take medicals at their respective new clubs on Tuesday. He was due to have talks with Maurizio Sarri yesterday, but it has been reported he will not stand in Courtois' way if he wants to leave. CHELSEA EYE UP COURTOIS REPLACEMENTS
Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa Arrizabalaga is a goalkeeper target for Chelsea, Sky Sports News understands. With the Blues resigned to losing Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid before the deadline after he missed training for a second day today, the club are focusing their attentions on securing his replacement. Stoke’s Jack Butland remains their first choice because of the nature of the deal, according to Sky sources, which is expected to cost them £30m if they can act quickly - but that price will rise the close to the deadline it becomes. Arrizabalaga would cost Chelsea much more, and a fee of around £70m would make him the most expensive goalkeeper in the world - eclipsing Alisson only weeks after the Brazilian joined Liverpool. Maurizio Sarri would also like to go for Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak, but his £89m release clause is a stumbling block. 13:01
TERRIERS WANT NEW WINGER

GUDJOHNSEN SON JOINS REAL
Eidur Gudjohnsen's son Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen has joined Real Madrid, the 16-year-old has revealed. Writing on Instagram after moving from Espanyol, he said: "Very excited and pleased to announce that I have signed with Real Madrid! Looking forward to the future." The move could provide some friction in the Gudjohnsen household - dad Eidur famously turned out for Barcelona after leaving Chelsea during his playing career. And should he play for his national team at any point, he will follow in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather. 12:42
MINA ABSENT FROM BARCA TRAINING
Everton and Manchester United target Yerry Mina missed Barcelona training this morning, reporter Vinny O'Connor has just confirmed to Sky Sports News. LEVERKUSEN LOAN FOR THELIN
Bayer Leverkusen have signed Sweden forward Isaac Kiese Thelin on a season-long loan from Anderlecht. The 26-year-old, who was in Sweden's World Cup squad, spent last season on loan at Belgian side Waasland-Beveren. "He has developed excellently in the Belgian league," Leverkusen head coach Heiko Herrlich said on the club website. "Isaac is an additional option for us up front." 12:19
BURNLEY BACK IN J-ROD HUNT
Sky Sports News understands Burnley will make an improved £18m offer to West Brom for striker Jay Rodriguez later today. Sean Dyche is becoming increasingly frustrated by the situation and wants a new striker in before the deadline - it's thought Rodriguez is keen on a move back to the Premier League in his home town, but is prepared to stay and try to get Albion back into the top division if a deal can’t be done. 12:14
LEICESTER CLOSE TO DEFENDER
Leicester City have a broad agreement with Dinamo Zagreb for young defender Filip Benkovic, Sky Sports News understands, with the Croatian Under-21 international due to fly to England later today for further talks. The deal could cost Leicester more than £10m, but it’s understood Claude Puel considers him as a good prospect for the future, rather than someone who can go straight into the first team - and is not viewed as a Harry Maguire replacement. 12:09
SWANSEA WANT YEOVIL DEFENDER
Swansea are in talks over a potential deal to sign Yeovil’s Tom James, according to Sky sources. The defender’s deal to West Brom collapsed over personal terms last week, giving the Swans renewed hope. James is predominantly a right-back can cover anywhere across the back-four - making him an attractive possible squad member. He played in Yeovil's 1-0 defeat to Bury on Saturday - but was sent off. 12:07
WHO IS RYAN EDMONDSON?

I like to do a round of the previews so thought I'd share them all here so they're in one place and you can all weigh in with your own previews. Manchester Evening News: "City's hopes of winning both games have received a significant boost with the news that captain Vincent Kompany will be available after overcoming a calf problem. David Silva (knee), left-back Aleksandar Kolarov and striker Edin Dzeko (both calf) won't feature, however, while defender Eliaquim Mangala is battling a knock. Even if fit, Mangala's participation could be in doubt due to his inauspicious start to life in English football." Score prediction: 3-0 to City Guardian: "As Bayern Munich are at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday for a must-win Champions League encounter City will not want a confidence-sapping afternoon." Starting XI prediction: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Clichy, Nava, Lampard, Touré, Nasri, Jovetic, Aguero Independent: "Manchester City cannot afford less than three points on Saturday in their game against Swansea if they want to keep their hopes up of securing a consecutive title." Score prediction: 2-1 to City. BBC Sport: "The champions haven't yet got anywhere near the standards they have set themselves. One win in their last six games in all competitions has been a surprise, and perhaps a source of motivation." Score prediction: 4-0 to City Sky Sports: "Despite their stuttering form, this is still Manchester City’s fourth best start to a Premier League season and they have one point more than last season after 11 matches." Score prediction: 3-1 to City Eurosport: "Swansea have conceded the highest percentage of second half goals in the Premier League this season (73%). Manchester City are the only team in the Premier League without an ever present starter this season. Under Manuel Pellegrini, Manchester City have won 20 and lost just two of their 24 Premier League games at the Etihad Stadium." Bleacher Report: "City push men forward and commit at least seven, if not eight, to attacks at times, leaving the centre-backs high and dry on the halfway line. We saw Swansea punish an over-committal Arsenal in the last gameweek with a great counterattacking goal, and the fear here is that if Pellegrini doesn't switch things around, they could be overrun on the counter on their own turf again." Hey there! I'm Heroic_Lifesaver and welcome to this weeks one stop shop for you as we prepare for Arsenals next League match. Here's last weeks post ahead of our 4-1 win at Hull City. This week, it's Chelsea at home Managers Views Arsenal
On Conte: "He is doing well because he has started, they have started, in a very strong way."
On how to handle Costa: "... by being completely cold-blooded, just focus on the game and don't respond. Just try to negate his qualities and his game."
On Ramsey's fitness: "I don't think he'll be available for our next game." Says Ramsey has a "small grade one hamstring injury" and that he likely won't go on International duty with Wales.
On Wenger: "I think Wenger is doing a good job. I don't want to go into a situation of Wenger or Mourinho. It's fantastic if somebody is able to stay for 20 years in one club. Sometimes if you judge only for the wins, you make a mistake and you pay for this in the future."
On Cesc: "I think that for Cesc, it is a special game for him. The most important thing for him is that he is Chelsea's player. He's playing very well. There is a possibility that he can start tomorrow..."
On Arsenal: "It's a very good team, young players, great technique, good players with good potential and good physicality. They play good football." Good
How's your form? Arsenal
The Gunners are looking for a 4th consecutive League win (something we haven't achieved since October 2015). A great 4-1 win at Hull last week was followed by another 4 goal haul in the EFL Cup on Tuesday. A 4-0 win at Nottingham Forest saw Lucas Perez score his first Arsenal goals and Granit Xhaka found the net for the second game in a row.

Chelsea
Chelsea have just one point from their last 2 league matches. Last Friday they lost 2-1 at home to Liverpool. They have won once on the road in the League so far, 2-1 at Watford. They came from 2-0 down and needed extra time to win at Leicester in the EFL Cup in mid-week. Fabregas scored twice in extra time as they won 4-2.

Team News Arsenal
Expect Arsenal to make plenty of changes from the EFL Cup win on Tuesday. Cech, Koscielny, Ozil and Alexis will all return to the side.
Giroud faces a late fitness test, still recovering from his toe injury suffered at PSG.
As mentioned above, Ramsey is out. Other than that, there's no fresh injury worries. Mertesacker, Welbeck and Jenkinson are all long term absentees.
Chelsea
The visitors are without John Terry, who suffered strained ankle ligaments in their draw with Swansea last week. He likely won't be back until after the International break.
Kurt Zouma is close to coming back from his long term injury suffered in February. But not close enough to feature on Saturday, leaving Chelsea with just 3 fit centre-backs.
Cesc Fabregas' performance against Leicester in the Cup may well have given him a chance to make his first Premier League start under Conte. The Spaniard has made 3 sub appearances in the League so far this season.
Head-to-Head
Arsenal and Chelsea have met 187 times in all competitions. Arsenal have the advantage in the head-to-head, winning 72. Chelsea have won 61 times and there have been 54 draws.
Both teams have been ever present in the Premier League era, playing 48 times. Arsenal have won 18, drawn 14 and lost 16.
Recent history is certainly in Chelsea's favour though. Arsenal have won just 1 of the last 11 meetings in all competitions. That came in the Community Shield at Wembley in 2015. Arsenal have lost 7 of these 11 games.
Goals have been hard to come by against Chelsea in recent times. Oxlade-Chamberlains winner in the Community Shield is the only goal we've scored in the last 8 clashes with Chelsea. The Blues have scored 13 in the last 8 (including the 6-0 at the Bridge).
It's important to take into consideration the fact that Chelsea as we know them have only existed since 2003, when Roman Abramovich took over the club. (I joke, they have previous history of course....)
We never lost to Chelsea in the League under Wenger before the Russian take over. They did beat us twice in the League Cup though (3-1 at Stamford Bridge in 1998 and 5-0 at Highbury in 1999).
It's been 8 games since both teams scored in this fixture. That was a 2-1 defeat at Chelsea in January 2013. Walcott scored our goal.
Theo Walcott seems a decent bet to score tomorrow. He's scored 5 times against Chelsea before, including his first ever Arsenal goal in the League Cup final in 2007. Newcastle are the only side he's scored against more times than Chelsea.
Chelsea won both League matches last season. They scored 3 goals over those 2 games. Arsenal got 3 red cards over those 2 games.
That's Interesting
The first ever match between these two was in 1907 when Chelsea beat Woolwich Arsenal 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Charlie Satterthwaite scored Arsenals goal. The striker, who previously played for Thames Ironworks (that's West Ham to you and me), also holds the record for being Arsenals first ever goal scorer in the First Division. His brother, Joe Satterthwaite, played 5 times for the club, making them the first pair of brothers to ever play for Arsenal.
Arsenals biggest margin of victory over Chelsea came in 1930 when they won 5-1 at the Bridge. David Jack got 3 of his 124 Arsenal goals that day. The English striker has the distinct honour of being the first player ever to score at Wembley (in the 1923 FA Cup Final for Bolton against West Ham). He was also the first footballer in the world to be transferred for more than £10,000.
Reading a bit more into our record with Chelsea before and after the Abramovich take over throws up some interesting stats.
The two League Cup defeats mentioned earlier are the only losses to Chelsea under Wenger before they came into some cash.
Our first loss to them Post-Roman came in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie in 2004. A 1-0 defeat at the Bridge in August 2005 was Chelsea's first league win over Arsenal in 10 years.
Chelsea won in their last visit to Highbury in December 2005. They hadn't won at Highbury in the League since a Division One win in 1990. They've won 5 of 10 League visits to the Emirates.
Arsenal last did the League double over Chelsea in 2003-04. Chelsea have done it 4 times over us since then.
Arsenal won 12 of 20 games against Chelsea in the Wenger Era before Abramovich money. They've won 8 in 34 matches since then.
Pre-Roman (under Wenger): P 20 W 12 D 6 L 2 F 37 A 26
Post-Roman: P 34 W 8 D 7 L 18 F 31 A 54
We kept 5 clean sheets against Chelsea in the first 20 matches against them under Wenger (and just one of them was a 0-0). In the 34 since then, we've kept just 6 clean sheets (Four of them were 0-0's).
We also failed to score just twice in the first 20 games under Wenger against Chelsea. We've failed to score a staggering 14 times in 34 matches with them since the take over.
Arsenal scored more than one goal on 13 occasions in the first 20 games. We've scored more than once in just 7 of the following 34.
Looking at our last home League win over Chelsea, only 9 players of the 36 in the combined matchday squads are still involved with either club. Koscielny and Walcott both started that match. Jack Wilshere started and Szczesny was on the bench, both of whom are still at Arsenal but out on loan. Fabregas scored that night and could very well start for Chelsea tomorrow. John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic and John Obi Mikel (Obi John Mikel? Mikel John Obi?) also played that night, in front of Petr Cech - who will be lining up for Arsenal this time around.
How's about some goals?
Yes, goals have been few and far between for us in this fixture recently. But we do have some...
August 2015 - Community Shield: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the winner as Arsenal started their season with some silverware. Petr Cech helped beat the side he lifted the League title with just 4 months earlier. Here's full highlight of the game
September 2012 - Premier League: Our most recent goal at home against Chelsea came in a 2-1 defeat in 2012. Gervinho equalised for Arsenal after Torres had opened the scoring for the Blues. A Juan Mata free kick, via a slight touch from Koscielny, won it for Chelsea. Here's Gervinho's goals for Arsenal. The strike against Chelsea is number 8 of 11
December 2010 - Premier League:Our last home win over Chelsea. Alex Song, Cesc Fabregas and Theo Walcott scored our goals. Ivanovic pulled one back for the visitors. It was a win that put us second, behind Man United, and moved us 4 points clear of Chelsea. It brought to an end a run of 5 consecutive defeats to Chelsea.
December 2007 - Premier League:A William Gallas header gave Arsenal a 1-0 win over Chelsea and a first win against them since February 2004. Arsenal hadn't beaten Chelsea under Jose Mourinho but managed a win against Avram Grant's side at the first time of asking.
February 2004 - FA Cup: A relatively unknown prospect, Jose Antonio Reyes became an instant hit with 2 goals to knock Chelsea out of the FA Cup. They were his first Arsenal goals, coming a couple weeks after making his debut.
December 2004 - Premier League: A moment of brilliance from the King. Thierry Henry scored a quickly taken free kick as Arsenal drew 2-2 with Chelsea at Highbury. Current Arsenal keeper Petr Cech was still setting up his wall when Henry asked the ref if he could take the free kick quickly. He got a nod of a approval and put the ball in the net.
And that's that... So there you have it. Arsenal play Chelsea tomorrow at 5:30pm (GMT). Here's hoping our record with them improves over the coming years. It's also the first time Arsene Wenger will go up against Antonio Conte. Conte has only ever managed Italian teams before, but never with much distinction until being given the Juventus job. 3 successive Serie A titles and a Champions League final followed before he became Italian national team head coach, leading them to the Euro 2016 quarter finals. He's the 9th Italian to manage in the Premier League and the 5th at Chelsea alone. I'll be back net week to preview our next League match - an away trip to Burnley. Thanks for reading!
Crystal Palace vs Swansea odds, preview and predictions 24/05/2015
Sunday 24/05/2015, 16:00, England Premiership, Round 38 Crystal Palace vs Swansea Preview To say that Crystal Palace is a streaky team would be the understatement of the month, because the team managed to lose four games in a row after winning just as many. The fact that they have home pitch advantage against Swansea could help them end the slide, but the visitors are in superb form. Crystal Palace vs Swansea Odds At William Hill Crystal Palace 2.20, Draw 3.35, Swansea 3.20 Crystal Palace vs Swansea Tips For some odd reason, Crystal Palace sank into near irrelevance and allowed an average of two goals per match while scoring none even against week opponents. They don't have injured or suspended players, yet in the absence of something to preserve their motivation, these footballers took the foot off gas. In this fixture they have the advantage of playing in front of their fans and take on a team that lacks motivation, but this doesn't automatically grant them favorite status. Bookmakers are siding with them, but this is not a brilliant idea as the squad obviously struggles to stay afloat. Swansea has won three games and by far the most impressive result was the narrow margin victory over Arsenal on the road. Crystal Palace vs Swansea Prediction If they managed to defeat Arsenal in London, Swansea is worth a shot on the road against Crystal Palace especially with William Hill returning the stakes if the match ends undecided. Bet: Swansea Draw no Bet @ 2.20 with William Hill www.casinoreviews.casino
Leicester vs Chelsea odds, preview and predictions 14/12/2015
Monday 14/12/2015, 21:00, Premier League, Round 16 Leicester vs Chelsea Preview Even the best things eventually come to an end, but Leicester is hoping that the winning streak can continue even if they take on Chelsea. They are leading the Premier League and have a narrow advantage over both Arsenal and Manchester city, the perennial favorites to lift the trophy. Both their opponents have secured victories over the weekend, so Leicester needs to follow suit on Monday. Leicester vs Chelsea Odds At Dafabet Leicester 3.00, Draw 3.40, Chelsea 2.30 Leicester vs Chelsea Tips Leicester is playing some offensive football recently and manages to score even against the best teams, which explains their recent success. While they don't mind playing on the road, where they are yet to lose a match this season, hope each advantage is always important and they were trying to make the most of it tonight. The starting formation hasn't changed much since the last victory over Swansea, a clear 3-0. Vardy and Mahrez are on a scoring spree and together they have defeated the opposing goalkeeper 24 times, which makes them some of the best goalscorer in the division. They're going to play together from the first because the home side is hoping for three points and won't settle for a draw.Chelsea is far from peak form, but at least they managed to win the last match in the champions league and have advanced to the next stage. They will take on PSG in spring, but for the time being they need to focus on the task at hand which is to salvage their Premier League season. The visitors are hoping to return to their winning ways and there is no better way to signal the turnaround than by defeating the leader away from home. Mourinho is going to have to trust Costa once again, despite the fact that the Spanish striker is only a shadow of its former self. The midfield is also struggling on many levels and scoring goals has been particularly difficult in the English championship. Key Facts Chelsea has a crushing head to head record against laser, winning seven games in a row. In 15 Premier League games this season, Leicester lost a single match. Leicester vs Chelsea Prediction It is going to be difficult for punters to make up their mind, given the fact that Chelsea needs to prove its ability to play at the highest level. On the other hand, the head to head record speaks for itself and Leicester players going to have serious problems inputting those numbers behind them. Odds of 2.30 from Dafabet are simply too good to ignore and punters would be wise to take advantage of this value. Bet: Chelsea @ 2.30 with Dafabet via www.casinoreviews.casino
QPR vs. Aston Villa Venue: Loftus Road Kick Off: 16:00pm BST/GMT Referee: Oliver Why not join the IRC live soccer chat? With Joey Barton in fine form since joining the London club, and a Villa side who need a result this weekend after a poor midweek performance against Bolton, this match could be a corker!! So let's get the match facts. Match facts/preview TEAM NEWS QPR have no fresh injury concerns but Kieron Dyer remains out with a foot injury and Clint Hill joined Nottingham Forest on loan this week. Jamie Mackie is not yet in contention but is back in full training after a double leg break last January. Aston Villa are hoping deadline-day signing Jermaine Jenas will finally be fit after a thigh injury. But Darren Bent has been ruled out with a groin problem, while fellow striker Emile Heskey remains an absentee. MATCH PREVIEW The last time QPR beat Villa, pop star Jarvis Cocker was about to stun the world! When Kevin Gallen grabbed the only goal of that victory in December 1995, Michael Jackson was Top of the Pops with his Earth Song dirge. Cocker was so enraged at Jackson's performance at the Brits a few weeks later, he invaded the stage and waggled his bottom in Jacko's face! People who downvote Match threads have aids, let's see who actually reads this stuff. I'll go for a first Rangers top-flight win since they beat West Ham in April 1996 QPR now have someone who loves to get in the face of opponents and they hope Joey Barton continues his abrasive form. He's already driven them a long way from the naive opening hammering by Bolton and can inspire a first home Premier League victory of the season against Villa, who were poor in the midweek cup defeat by Bolton and who are fortunate to still be unbeaten in the league. I mean, I bet I can put anything, an nobody will give two shits. Injuries to Darren Bent and Emile Heskey have hit them. Gabby Agbonlahor, though, is looking sharp. He's scored half of Villa's league goals and three in his last four Premier League games. His quick movement in from wide positions will threaten QPR's new-look defence, where Luke Young will be up against his old team. I mean, who do redditors think they are, I create a thread for a Premier League match, because nobody else can be bothered, and they downvote me. Well, guess what, I give you something to downvote, not that you will notice. With Shaun Wright-Phillips in sparkling form in his opening two matches, Barton's leadership and DJ Campbell's quick feet in the box, I'll go for a first Rangers top-flight home win since they beat West Ham in April 1996. Earth Song was just an insipid memory by then. Mark Morrison was at Number One with Return of the Mack. Now he did have a bit of snap and snarl about him - just like Joey! MATCH FACTS Head-to-head QPR are unbeaten at home to Aston Villa in the Premier League (W3, D1). Villa won 4-2 in the last league meeting between the sides - that was in March 1996 when Dwight Yorke scored twice, while Kevin Gallen was on the scoresheet for QPR. Gallen also scored the winner when the teams last met in the league at Loftus Road in December 1995. Managers Neil Warnock and Alex McLeish previously met in the 2008-09 season when both were in the Championship - McLeish's Birmingham beating Warnock's Crystal Palace at St Andrew's, and the sides then drew 0-0 at Selhurst Park. QPR QPR haven't scored at Loftus Road yet this season in league or cup. Last season, Rangers won their first four home league matches without conceding a goal. Captain Joey Barton scored the opening goal for Newcastle in their 6-0 win over Aston Villa last season. Aston Villa Aston Villa are unbeaten after five games of this season's Premier League (for the first time since 2006-07) but have drawn four of their matches. Gabby Agbonlahor has scored half of Villa's league goals this season and has scored three in his last four league games. Only Newcastle have conceded fewer goals than Villa in this season's Premier League. Darren Bent has been caught offside 12 times this season, more than any other Premier League player. So where are both teams in the league at the moment, I hear you ask? 1 Man Utd 6 17 16 2 Man City 6 14 16 3 Chelsea 6 5 13 4 Newcastle 6 4 12 5 Liverpool 6 0 10 6 Tottenham 5 0 9 7 Stoke 6 -2 9 8 Aston Villa 5 2 7 9 Everton 5 0 7 10 QPR 5 -2 7 11 Wolves 6 -3 7 12 Arsenal 6 -5 7 13 Sunderland 5 2 5 14 Norwich 5 -2 5 15 Wigan 6 -4 5 16 Swansea 6 -5 5 17 Fulham 6 -3 4 18 Blackburn 6 -5 4 19 West Brom 6 -5 4 20 Bolton 6 -8 3 So both teams have had the better of performances out of 20 this season so far, with both teams resting in the top 10. So you're now interested after reading all that, where can you watch? Well, if you're a British or Irish citizen, Sky Sports is free this weekend, meaning at 3.30pm GMT, you will be able to pick up the game on Sky Sports 1, without paying the extra £5 per week. Bonus! If you can't find a TV but you're a Sky customer, why not use the SKY GO application, type that in Google and get yourself signed up. For people who neither have Sky or the option of purchasing Sky, you will be needing a stream? Streams If you have anymore I will post them up.
